While they're at it...put another pin in the stock front to secure it better.

You know that little screw on the right side of the replica that holds in the (meh-designed) mag release? It loves to back its way out. I tighten mine all the way down after about 50 mag changes, lest the mags can be simply pulled out. eek.

Hop-up adjustment? I thought mine (AE) has a little lever to adjust hop from the outside of the replica. Doesn't the ICS have the same thing?

Split gearbox design? I won't need it, heh but others evidently do :-)

Interesting...especially with Systema coming online with their version in early spring...

However, when you're a student with next to no income and rapidly shrinking overdraft, they're pretty damned expensive wink.gif

them were the days lol - it doesn't get any better though !

I mean compared to other manufactureres they are a bargain! Systema is a different world and not comparitive; but they are doing 3-round burst as well as semi and full auto - but i wont pay an extra £600 for it!

C'mon ICS lead the way - show the world again that you are the leading airsoft developer and manufacturer and give us what we want - semi, burst, full auto, split gearboxes, discrete hop up adjust, strengthened cocking tube etc. - I'll buy you all a drink, and pay the extra for these features! (Marshal telling me to shut up).

Hmm, I'd love it for the ICS M4 and MP5 upper gearboxes to be compatible/the same... I've already got a couple of M4 uppers laying around that I like to switch between, and it'd be nice not to have to buy new MP5 style uppers in order to have that same switching ability...

Probably to much to ask, but I thought I'd give it a shot.

I Guarantee An Awesome Increase In Radness.

Looks good to me. It might be too much to wish that the upper gearbox was compatible with the M$ but it would be nice.

Either way I love my current ICS MP5 and I'll love this one when it comes out. Have they got any provisional release dates (ie Winter 2008)

Awesome, looking forward to an SD6. Any chance of a dummy 3 round burst logo being added?
Thanks

While they are at it they might as well add in a MOSFET and Capacitors to add some NEEDED fixing on ALL mechanical contacts. Then they could just incorporate the three round burst as an added feature in the pre upgraded electronics smile.gif Heck even make it LiPo ready for the Lipo craze!

ICS is showing some serious inovation. Now if only they would incorporate a split gearbox in their Sig Series as well as the above features then I think we would be set and ICS definetly having the best inovation smile.gif

Systema MP5 Redwolf Scoop

Well ICS and Systema MP5s are looking the same except for the price tag and function.

I think ICS's old innovation (ability to slide the trigger group and gearbox out from the back, G3-style) was good enough to make the MP5 serviceable. Looks like this modification has been made for the sake of it. I can see how it would appeal to collectors a bit more, but a well set up AEG doesn't need tinkering in the cylinder assembly that often.
