I'm replying to fireknife. He seems to be wanting something new from this factory, which is highly unlikely.

In response to Angel.

JLS is all i can say.

China factory, first to churn out SCAR / FN2000 / RX4.

I mean why do most of the China factories churn out Armashites all the time, why not the odd Type 89 or even something new altogether, it is not impossible, even something like the Vz.58 built around an AK GB and bits.

Dont forget the Masada or the MP40. CA, G&P and all the others started off cloning Marui's stuff. It takes companies a while to get comfortable and start risking. As far as I know STAR and VFC are the only companies that started with their own designs.

Okay, admittedly, the A&K LR300, M249 and SR25 are clones of clones.

There is a Chinese factory producing a type 89 as far as I'm aware. With an all metal body and even an upgraded version. Don't know what the difference is between the regular and up dated model but they do look rather nice and is something different. Was thinking about getting one to see what they look like.

Just asked my supplier about the type89 and he hasn't heard anything about it going out of production. He's going to look into it and get back to me.

Armalites and AKs make money. Fact. They're easy to clone, and A LOT of people like them.

JLS made toss. Which is probably why we haven't heard from them in some time. They brought out a few niche guns that had minimal uptake. No wonder all the new factories play it safe by bringing out generic 'famous' weapons.

Words of wisdom there, same for KART as they made non mainstream models mostly, its just simple fact those dont sell that much as you would like, play it safe and goods roll on much better. It's kind of consumers vote with their feet so dont bo banging those small producers if they try something different smile.gif as they go against the wind. JLS is struggling big time they are making toys again more just to keep up their toygun line up.
