this is not 'new' but any update since shot show is definitely new. Glad to see this coming out FINALLY!

New to me. The only other party working on a AR57 that I was aware of was Redwolf through some affiliate which they showed castings of at SHOT Show 2010 (until the AR57 guys walked over to them and ordered them to take it down since it wasn't licensed). I wonder if this is the same piece and it's now revealed that Madbull is behind it? If so I would imagine they finally got the licensing for it.

That is the same one, I could of sworn it was Madbull at 2010? Perhaps someone suggested Madbul had been behind it, either way I knew it was a madbull? Glad to see they finally got the licensing sorted on it, Such a unique and interesting gun.

Looks pretty damn sweet. Massively impractical for airsoft of course, but you're definitely not going to see many of those on the field.

As much as I'm generally biased against Madbull, I may have to look into this when it actually comes out...

I bet that guy is having "MAG-K Hatred" right now.

Maybe that should be a new dictionary definition: where a company makes you feel un-unique anymore by building and mass producing your custom work.

Also, azn, at least they made it before you spent money on yours. You should make Haleys new AK.

Knowing Madbull, it will either be a full receiver kit, or an upper that is CA compatible.
I think G&P compatible will be a better choice.

I am also wondering how long it will take befor someone puts a P90 box mag on it? :flamed:

Madbull has veered away from doing parts that are CA spec for the last couple years. It'd be odd for them to go back to that. They've been doing their own receiver sets for some time now and I would expect that we'd see a full upper and lower receiver kit with a dedicated hop-up.

It'd most likely not be compatible with another lower without gearbox modification purely based on where the mag feeds from.

It would need either an incredibly long nozzle, or for the BBs to be brought back from the mag feed to the regular AR hop area.

Don't see why. It's just feeding the BBs in from the top of the magwell instead of the bottom, so, in theory, you just use a P90 style hop in the same place as the normal hop would be...

I have to say, I do likey, I'm not a fan of ARs, but I do like odd stuff, and I already have a P90...
