Lucky bramston pickle... Did you have a look at the hop up? is it a regular M4 hop? redesigned? something more like the ICS hop?

That's the thing i really wanted to check and know about but didn't got round to this time. What i can tell you though even if it is a regular m4 hop the chamber is somewhat redisigned to incorporate the sensor/switch (or whatever it is) that stop the gun from shooting when the mag runs empty.

And something I didn't answer earlier:

I'm wondering about the 'electronics entirley in the gearbox' bit. Does this include a fuse and a mosfet, that would be quite cool.

Yes and that's way you're able to fit larger lipos in the buffer tube.

And one more thing - this probably will not be the final look of the gun - it will come equipped with a rail system but the guys at AS have not yet dicided what kind to use.

Oh, thats surprising, so even using regular mags the bolt lock function works... very very nice.

About hop, hope they redesigned the hop chamber or at least cloned the ICS/prowin/madbull, so much better than regular chambers

Looks like a Systema PTW/CTW and ICS M4 child ;>. Mags is something that I wonder. Would those be standard cheap AEG mags or some kind of a special breed (like Systema/CTW).

It takes normal AEG M4 mags, any makes.

Looks like the lower is off spec and longer to house the gearbox, alot like the ICS gearbox and AEG... Bleh, they should have copied the ProWin gearbox, which fits in a more standard sized AEG lower. Then copied the way Star/ARES installs the RS buffer tube..... At that point, you would have had one hell of a gun.

Meh, Advise they dont use a rail system, to keep the price down. Then release a 10.5 inch gun and a 14.5 inch gun. Then bring the cost down 50 dollars.

Yes as it has already been stated by T.w.a.T - the bolt lock function works with regular mags.

Also I spoke with the guys at AS bout the hop and that's what they've sent me:

I will. Will they take it into consideration I don't know. And if you guys have any other reasonable ideas and suggestions I will forward them to the guys at Airsoft Systems.

That chamber looks good, so they use a moving (forwards backwards) lever to apply hop... This gun is getting more a more interesting and as Addadgq said, with a recoil kit this could be just awesome

It's rear wired with a battery in the stock tube so good luck with that.

The hop unit wings and the cut out in the threads for the non rotation lug you get on most outer barrels in the images would suggest so.

Yes, pretty much everything besides the reciever and the gearbox shell will be standart.

I have to admit if this came with an EBB option it would be very, very attractive! When is someone going to make a recoil kit for the Magpul Masada....? (sigh...)

Weeeeell, as the Masada has a folding stock my guess would be 'never'.

I thought it can have non-folding stock installed.

Either way; it might be best to just tell GHK to hurry and release a Masada-compatible version of their GBB V2 gearbox.
