crappiness of existing non replacable battery tracers (which would of course effect chrono accuracy ala Madbull Chrono's)

cool. i like it just for that laser idea. but it would change the game too much. modifying and keeping a gun in top condition to outrange oponants would become pointless. something i like to do.

but a tracer unit/chrono/round counter could be very useful.

I could see usage in large games with HVTs wearing the target designator and issuing these to sniper/spotter teams as a way to earn points by assassinating HVTs or other targets.

i like that. using them for certain scenarios is a great idea. i have a few in mind.

I personally don't like the laser aspect of this but it is a novel idea.

I can imagine the R&D room just sitting around and being like .. why don't we just put All the things! ... into a silencer. xD

I would worry about reaking the screen and having something glowing on the end of my gun. I like the chrono being built in lastability and accuracy however if permanently fixed, on dunno.
For certain scenarios the laser could be useful but only really for recon/sniper game elements. Hitting stuff with a bb has a certain amount of luck involved as well as game skill and technical ability. I'd not want to loose that element from the game, you can if you are thus inclined dodge a bb it is hard to outrun light tho you may try.
Bravo to G&G for some outside the box thinking here tho. Now if they can get their internals upto this level of thinking they could come up top be a major player.

I find the 'you can't dodge a laser' naysaying amusing to a degree - we have all the bitching that goes on about milsim/open days/PTWs/ammo limits/low caps vs hicaps, all things that have the word 'realism' come up somewhere in them - now we have a manufacturer developing something that can enhance that level of realism as well as cut down on some of the non hit calling BS.

I'd like to see it released in different forms, perhaps assault rifle varients have a laser that can only project around 50m, slightly longer ones for snipers that can go out to 100m.

I do think being able to go out to 300m would be a bit OTT and it's pretty obvious that this would only work at a game where everyone is using one of these units, but it's a step towards a more realistic game.

Thats seems a little pointless RSM, you might as well just go play lasertag, since they already have guns which do that.
