While browsing around i saw these two:

Now I know the VAL was on Pre-Order on some shops several months ago, but I remember the release date being November 2011. (And in limited numbers?)

I remember reading the thread about these a while ago. Was it ever determined if they're going to use a standard v3 gearbox?

typically if WGC shop has it on preorder, it is no longer vaporware. im curious about internals cause these have shown up out of the blue. they gave the pre-release teaser pics of the prototype, but since then, there has been no word or even pictures. As much as i want one, im kind of worried for the first poor soul who gets one.

guess we will wait for it to actually release and for the first reviews to come rolling in.

I have them both on pre order the AS VAL and the VSS Vintorez look like the Val later this Month and the VSS in May, couldn't miss out on these two guns have wanted them for a very long time, I am just hoping there based on these designs

Gunsmith Baton is also producing a VSS and an AS VAL.

In my country (Brazil) the Army uses the real FAL, and the ZL made some versions of Airsoft FAL(s), anybody knows contact of the manufacturer for bulk orders for theys guns, that will be used for military training pouposes, please? I spend a lot of time in a search but found only the blog below...

how do you know THEY are producing it? they are a retail shop that have Zeta Lab, APS and countless others listed as brands they carry in their webshop. Maybe they are re-selling it?

No they are making it. They do a lot of crazy *suitcase* (go to gunsmithbaton.com and look at the "DEMO" link on the left)

that would be great, more the merrier in the mix and it should price the prices down due to the competition

Unless the externals are absolutely to die for, this is going to be cheap gun for a very high price.

The externals look promising enough seen as it's zeta lab, it looks like pretty much everything's steel where they should be, I have this thing where I completely don't care about internals when it comes to standard aegs if the externals are good... since there's nothing you can't replace easily, for a unique gun like this, I'd be going for it even if it didn't come with a gearbox.

Speaking of which, anyone knows how to get hold of these?
