Dunno if this is news to you but it is for me. Seems like tm ebb has been cloned by ARMY

www.rsov.com/product.php?langId=1&currencyId=1&manufacturerId=59&prodId=15768&cateId=62

Still got army L85 and after mods im loving and its been thru hell and works like a charm.
Seeing the pricetag on the clone im tempted, i'd expect some modding needed but after such i'd field one without worries...

If anyone has pics of the internals, do post.

Interesting that it ships with XT rail covers, PEQ box (working laser?), lipo, AND charger for the same price as the Gen1 clone. Maybe they'll have a lower priced version without all the extras.

Sig limit is 400 x 100

It's been out since christmas at GunnerAirsoft.

Mine did not come with rail covers, but it came with a lipo charger, an 11.1v 1300mAh lipo in the PEQ-15, which also has a working red laser.

Additionally, my box was a full foam job, not a "two-pieces-of-cardboard" job.

GIEF pix, nowz!!11

Sooo, can you chop it up and poke the internals? Metal quality, typical acm or better/worse? Barrel quality? Fps / ms?

More i think of it, the more im tempted to buy one. Pair it up with Vanaras mags and sounds like a champion. Only thing holding me back is my Tremors-kit M4 that i cant really sell.

Does it function like the real deal? Stops shooting when empty etc?

EDIT: does the crane fit a battery? Hows the front end, fits all aftermarket-stuff?
I'd prefer something without all the junk too. Ditch the ras too and put in real steel plastics.

I was going to film a video review and breakdown last weekend, but unfortunately I dislocated my kneecap, so I'm not going anywhere fast for a while.

However, I can tell you that it's 100% TM compatible, bolt catch works fine, Metal quality is on par with the TM, fit and finish is again, on par with the TM, though the upper/lower receiver has a little wobble, and the included sopmod stock is wobbly as *fruitcage*.

The barrel is nicely crowned, shoots 360fps w/0.2gs and the recoil is on par with the TM.

Internally, it has metal bushings, which appear to be 8mm ones, and a pretty strong motor. Steel gears, good airseal - the only issue is the wiring, which is ok. Not bad, not good, just meh. The hop-up rubber is ok, standard ACM affair of not being awful, but could do with a better one.

I wonder how high rof and fps can it go? Not looking huge ficures. Poor wires i can fix and setup a proper mosfet while at it.

How good is the motor? I'd say 90% of motor is magnets and testing them is easy. If screw-driver sticks to the grip from outside, it a Systema Magnum clone = win.

The motor is a neo one, very strong. The stock is a 100% clone of the TM EBB one, but the gun is wired to the front for the PEQ box. You could rewire it to fit a battery in the stock, but I'd probably just replace the stock with a Magpul one and get an MOE foregrip to keep a battery.

The front end is 100% TM spec, so it fits an MOE grip or standard M4 grips fine.

Yes. Though I don't have any midcaps to test it with here, I tested it with one in HK and it works fine.

By the by, chaps, as I have yet to finish the video review, are there any questions you would like answered about this?

I'll be showing the performance, external quality, popping open the internals and showing it with a few different accessories and such.

Whoops, my bad. Was "battleaxe" (who comes up with these names and how drunk was he?!)

Hmm... 45 rounds. Anyone happen to know a larger acm-option? No, not a hi-cap.

I have the r48 in hand. My bolt stop did not work out of the box, though the parts are indeed present: I had to add a shim to my TM mags to get it the thing to lock properly (not that big of a deal).

Also, I added a .2 mm shim inbetween the extending bit of the bolt lock and the rotaty bit of the bolt lock since it was crazy wobbly. This also helped the lock engage 100% of the time.

Mine has a bunch of acm tacticool stuff put on (9.5 RIS II, madbull DD gasblock, MIAD, afg, and a GBB UBR clone... that took some crazy work...) and I'm trying to get my SW-Lion from extreme fire to precock while still allowing the bolt lock to function (tricky timing...). Next mod is putting a reed switch/ neo magnet combo in the bolt system to allow precocking in full auto/full cycle detection and cutting up some RS pmags...
