How well does it work with hi caps?

Any chance they decided to work magic and have boltstop work for magazines with >82rd capacity?

Yes, there are clone 90 round mags.
If you want high caps, a realistic bolt catch should be on the bottom of your want list

I'm afraid the battleaxe clone mags came out after I left HK, so I can't confirm if they work.

The AEG works fine with hicaps, but there is no mechanism to engage the bolt catch if you use hicaps - just like the TM.

The ARMY hicaps are cheap and work well - no feeding issues, but they are a tight fit in the mag well - not difficult to insert or remove, but not drop-free.

Are the clone 90 rounders "mid-caps" as in bbs go side by side inside the mag? That tends to lead to feeding issues over time, some other issues as well... Dont want that.

Post some links different mags please.

I don't know if the clone locaps are double-stacked, I don't have one to hand.

As for different mags: LINKEH

DarkLite, whilst you were in HK, did you get chance to test the CQB version (R50)? (http://www.airsoftpanda.com/product_info.php/products_id/2790)
I'm curious if these versions also have the working bolt catch?

Hopefully on this one they made a heavier recoil weight and slightly stronger spring as the heavier metal front end will lessen the recoil...

On the R43 the recoil unit weight was about 2/3 that of the TM and hollow. Ended up melting some lead into mine.

hmm, how would the bolt stop work with the high cap? will it stop like everytime you have to wind it? or can you empty the whole mag without winding again
?

They've put a weight in the recoil system now, it feels like the TM.

That's good news indeed. I've still got my R43, been going strong for well over a year now, run it with a 7.4 and a heavier recoil weight.

I admit I quite like my review copy. It's got very nice range and pretty good accuracy for a stock barrel - I reckon with a tightbore and an H nub it'd be doing very well indeed. The only complaint I have is it jammed once, requiring me to reset the trigger manually by taking the gearbox apart.

I run my R43 with an adaptor with a Lonex HiCap quick wind, works perfectly.

HALLELUJA, a ACM copy of the TM EBB, WITH A BOLTCATCH YEEEE!!
Now all i want to know is what can be replaced on the gun both internal and external with already exiting parts, and what would be a good idea to switch out, and what battery can be used?

Is it just me, or are these a new version ... The finish looks different, maybe they made improvments :) :/
