I'd buy one. If that means anything. ;)
At ~$238 shipped, it's a fantastic alternative to the $1k real thing. The cummerbund looks a little flimsy, but beggars can't be choosers.

I'm thinking about picking one up in digital desert (pending pictures). I certainly hope they use actual webbing with the patterned colors.

Well if you will buy one that speaks volumes in its self seeing as you have the real thing!

The pictures on RSOV page show that the CB rig uses actual webbing unlike the other solid fox rig which uses folded webbing (plus it cost too much)

If you email RSOV and ask for pictures, I will as well and they might listen take pictures and post them!

Wonder what size they're basing it off of, hope it's not small...

... sticking with KJW hicapas because of Koba is like buying a marui M9 springer because of the vsr hop up.

The 416 and m4 use a lot of utg bits which are premium parts in anyone's book .

About DD pattern, solidfox is pantac, so if you go to WGC and look at the pantac DD you got the key, LOL! I've purchased one on DD, as soon as I got it I'll try to publish a review

I just fear the webbing will be in khaki, which wouldn't look right.

You're probably right. Looking at their product line, they just use khaki webbing. Same with Multicam.

Dang, I was fearing that. Oh well, the build quality should be great considering Pantac makes them. Looks like RG or CB will be the way to go.

Still, much more affordable than the real thing.

I saw an AOR1 CPC on the bay going for over $4k.

People are insane. Just from an "investment perspective", it is extremely risky because there are pretty much one or two parties who absolutely control the price. For instance, once NSW moves away from AOR1 (and they will at one point or another), items in that pattern will devalue immensely.

Or will they?

My AWS SF chest rig in woodland still fetches for $1k in today's market.

Yeah but $4000 for a plate carrier? You're halfway to a set of PVS-23s!

Anyway, I had a crazy idea to buy some AOR1 webbing and then get the MOLLE re sown on by a rigger to the solidfox DD, to make it "full AOR1"

However it will be quite expensive. (not 4K expensive though)

This plan is subject to how good Pantac's Desert Digital looks and the cost of the webbing and how much it will cost to get "made".
