frogfish
Whatever. Out. By the way, I didn't give you the negative rep. Alfer that looks perfect in those rocks, How's the uniform holding up?
Alfer
Im the one taking the photo But saying that Dave the subject treats his gear like *suitcase* and its holding up well after 6/7 games
TheFull9
ATACS at the Rock last Sunday Must admit, it's not entirely surprising that A-TACS works in a quarry like that (limestone?), given the nature of the place, though the photo is pretty good regardless. A 100% head-to-toe covering of the pattern there and you'd be practically invisible. By the way, I didn't give you the negative rep. No, that was me. In my book, any post that immature deserves a -1. Alfer
only one i could find in woodland that wasnt blury.
TheFull9
That's not bad at all, considering how brown most woods often are and how green that place is, it's doing well. Looking forward to when my set arrives so I can take it to somewhere that's all mud and leaf litter rather than grass.
medic23
works ok for this field, but in summer all that will be tan
Vance
It looks like it does pretty well in a woodland setting. Probably would be amazing if it was possibly later in the year when the trees start to die and everything starts to turn a bit grey. But it looks like it belongs in a Desert Urban Environment. Im excited to start seeing it on some local fields to see how it works out for everyone.
masakarijoe
Are there any other ATACS tactical hats out there aside from the one at tactical performance? Im going to get one soon, and I want to see my options.
AnakChan
Propper's boonie hat :- http://cgi.ebay.com/A-TACS-BDU-BOONIE-ARMY-USMC-AIRSOFT-PAINTBALL-LOT-/320695584613?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4aaaf24765 Cheaper than TP's baseball cap.
kojak
Anyone try SORD's lightweight uniform? I thought I'd try them out since my Propper pants are backordered.
masakarijoe
Yeah, im not looking for a boonie, just the baseball hat style...
AnakChan
Hmmm...I -think- only TP makes the baseball cap design in A-TACS. I just received my A-TACS Labels from 1800nametapes today :- On my combat shirt and vest :- Some Volk Tactical Gear pouches :-
ericfine50
The name tapes look great! Volk's gear looks very nice.
AnakChan
The Olive Drab threading for the names blends in too well with A-TACS background that from certain angles it's hard to read. But otherwise, it's ok. As for the Volk Tactical (http://www.vtg.jp in Japanese or http://www.combat-vtg.com in English), make quality gear but they're just ridiculously expensive. You're seeing approx USD$381 worth of pouches there and yes the JP prices more expensive than international (!!??!!??). I should have bought from their international site, ship it to my home in Oz and pick them up in my next holiday trip home and it would have been much cheaper than buying in Japan itself...despite Volk being Japanese brand! ericfine50
Oh, I have seen their $$ - nuts! Makes TAD and TT look cheap :-D
Jimmypie
new addition to the A-TACS collection, Ghost Gear lightweight Assault Pack, very good quality (looks like re-labeled Tactical Tailor to me), good for those on a budget, $59. I/we have ordered from them twice now, no probs at all. http://www.greyghostgear.com/packs/assault-pack-black
ericfine50
For the Assault Pack - how big is it? What do you think you can cram in there? Thanks
Jimmypie
Its quite big, slot for hydration, big main compartment, HAWG sized i guess, comes with everything to dock it on to a vest should you wish as well, 500d cordura. Easily big enough for a Days gaming.
