Not really sure, it was at the paypal checkout where I noticed the deduction. Come to think of it, my last purchase from them about a couple months ago also had a discount. Maybe a rebate of some sorts?

Apparently the Steam Box isn't a box so to speak. It's a set of standards that PCs will have to meet to be able to be called a Steam Box. Hopefully we'll find out more at E3.
PS4 isn't backwards compatible either at least not on the hardware. They are planning a streaming service to play old games though.

Well, 2 of the main 3 competing designs (WE and WA type) have already vast aftermarket support. Perhaps the companies don't care to spend anymore R&D on gas stuff?

That's why I'm going with WE really; It's a shame, because despite the KWA being one of the best designs, it's received no support because everyone has already gone with the WA/WE system.. Bah.
