Footage of a Chinese copy of the GHK kit cross posted from another forum. Could this be the one Dboys cloned a while back, or someone else? Supposedly the cost will be under $200 for the kit.

EDIT: OP on other forum says it is full steel, and not DBoys.

cheap mags would be nice... especially if they're CO2 mags smile.gif might convince me to actually buy one
unlikely they'll be CO2 though.

I'm curious, would this work in the old style TM-like AK builds (you know the type, 4 screws to hold the front assembly on), or would it only work in the newer, realistic takedown builds, which everyone seems to make these days?
What goes together comes apart. What comes apart goes back together. Just don't expect it to look the same when you've finished, though.

if its a clone of the ghk kit it will only work with lct adn vfc based designs

If its milled from steel and under 200 buks thats a nice price, if its cast alloy it'd need to be under 100

biggest concern would be if it was some rough cast steel that passes all the magnet tests but doesnt really prove much tougher in use at critical areas than the stock zinc-alloy parts

A cheap 'recoil rod, hop unit, springs and pins' kit would be handy though -would save buying a GHK kit just to rob those parts for a set of DG internals

hopefully it should work ok in my LCT AKS74 kit (specifically this one).

If not, then I'll just have to buy another AK.

i converted my vfc to fit the ghk kit and i know people who have done the same with the LCT just be aware you will need to use a dremel and you will not be able to go back to a aeg afterwoods

The conversion of the AK74U is reversible, however for the AKS74, the removal of a quarter inch from the outer barrel is still more difficult but also reversible with a spacer.

Dboy will release the GBB AK74U next month at very low price m better quality, no reason we have to spend USD200 for such kit
