I can't find any mention of it on the forums but I've just spotted a photo on RSOV's front page for a Vanaras 446Mhz PRR. Fingers crossed.

Hopefully it isn't, by all accounts the one that is already out is a pile of wank.

Eloquently put my good man. ;)

You are not far wrong with that appraisal but at least this one is on UK frequencies. Still even then if they don't supply the PC cable, suitable instructions and actually produce an item that works then I agree another "pool of man juice" is likely.

I now need a brain scrub.
The thing that put me & the team off buying one of these radios before was the seeming lack of support. At least if they already start on UK frequencies i can see everyone finally sticking their hands in their wallets.

Think they are Kenwood clones on the inside.

Morning after, the Arnies Event, book now. No seriously do it. If you're reading this part you should have booked by now.

They look good. Seems like they've made the electronics work on 3V (like the real one) rather than having to use those wierd expensive batteries that are the same size as AA but double the voltage, like the other PRR clone.

Has CTCSS and is compatible with Motorola single pin headsets...awesome!

thats the great thing about compatible rear ends.

No Wireless PTT? Not a big fan of that headset PIN connector either.
