Hmm, looks like a pretty good replica actually!

Wonder if it'll be gas...

JTFC!!! Looks like an AS VAL and a VSS Vintorez, I imagine modern russian impressionists will not care whether they are electric or gas, either would be awesome. I suspect they'll be electric since you could use a V3 mechbox more or less unmodified, a GBB would be a massive project just from an R&D point of view and consequently expensive.

That depends how they're doing it. For all you and I know they could be working with WE, GHK or SRC gas AK internals, dramatically reducing the R&D work required.

An AEG VSS you say?

Me Gusta.

Your facial expression is that of a man who has come to realise that he has defecated in his trousers, but has the determination to see the whole thing through anyway.

Apart from that, nice kit.

Finally a model that will hit the shops... Didn't really want to bother sourcing a custom made one.
Hope they do GBB though. I am kinda bored of AEGs...

I think you meant, "Now I know what Gunmane will sell my kidney for." :D

As much as I am excited for this, I see either a expensive limited run, or something that will have proprietary part issues.

This is very good news! Hope they will do gas version after that.

P.S. I hear real VSS cost about $10k in Chechnya (Chechen Republic). And i guess there will be a problem to just import is in Russia.

Unfortunately VSS will be around January.

True, though I imagine that would bring in licencing issues (who are zeta labs part of now?) and still be more complicated and expensive, AEGs are a cost efficient solution since the gun really just has to be a shell for the off the shelf internals. Still, they could suprise everyone, GBBRs are becoming more and more mainstream.

Zeta labs is part of Ares now, so AEG or even somesort of gas internals are possible.
