This is really growing on me. It seems I may have to purchase one...

Considering Magpul came out the GBBR conversion for their Masada do you think they will come out with one for this?

I don't think it's as likely to happen, but it's not impossible.

Looking at the shape of the body, I don't see why they not. There is plenty of real estate space in that body for plenty of things to happen. Dropping a P* engine in there would make that sexy little beast a killer in CQB.

basically I've never been a fan of the trigger finger mag release - the only reason i tolerate it on the M4 is cos I'm a lefty and actually thumb it with my right hand as i grab the mag

Unless if I miss my mark, the PDR has an ambi trigger finger release. So, left hand or right hand, the trigger finger will actuate the release all the same.

thats not the problem though - the issue is i dont like the trigger finger release at all, think its awkward and suited more to dropping the empty mag

I was so interested in getting this to replace my hi-rof KAC PDW, but then I noticed the mag to hop alignment.

it must use a curved tube to feed the ammo from the mag forwards to the hop - this wont work in hi rof setups :(

you could always learn to aim?

Mid Caps with a stiff spring shouldn't struggle with a curved hop 'feed' although of course you'll end up with BB's left in the curve at the end of a mag

oh you

and mag capacity would be wasted as you described, not so good for mids!

I can't see the channel being THAT long tho, maybe 3 or 4 rounds? oh yus, oh me :P So I don't think it will make any noticeable difference, 120(118 nomally) to 120(114 with longer feedtube)?

In the video it looks like about a 2" distance which equals around 8 or 9 rounds, you lose about 2 or 3 in a standard m4 hop feed.

For a typical 100 round mid thats almost 10%. I suppose its not really as big deal when using mids for for hi-rof/hi-cap setups i dont think this will work.

for the record, I am a pretty good shot - i just think rof is fun ;)

I jest I jest, although MOST airsofters who go, I can haz HIROF. Use drum mags and mp5k's :P

It'll be interesting to see what they've done, it might be an M14 style Hop with a canted feed tube further reducing the amount of BB's left in the tube. Where's USCMCorps when you need him? :P

Hopefully they'll have put in a groove with an o-ring to retain those rounds which are fed in but not fired, wouldn't be hard to do. That way you could manually load a few in to the feed tube of the weapon before you start a game, and since non will fall out when you remove the magazine you won't be wasting any ammo at all.

Only problem with that of course is that you'd have to make sure to turn the weapon upside down and fire a good few shots in order to 100% clear it before entering he safe zone, which is easy enough for most people, but some nugget out there will inevitably forget.

unless your sealing is that good, it simply sucks your bb's into the hop up unit.
I have 3 AEG's who are capable at the moment (it will wear down eventually), but only when firing full auto near the end.
The Tavor I used to have was able to do the same thing.

And yes, I want to see it in Tan, AND FG!

Not quite sure what your first sentence means if I'm honest.

You're saying that with the right setup a gun will just suck the rounds in the feed tube up in to the hop unit and fire them anyway? Even without the follower in the magazine to push said rounds?

Still in Vegas. Nursing a hangover. I'll try and answer as many questions as I can once I get back to California, sobered up, and regrouped with my thoughts on people's inquiries on this product.

Taken form my first experience of a hangover from last year, Hambuger Helper, Chunky brand soup, Icecream or sherbert helps the best, along with a cold rag.

Thanks for the anticipated info :D
