The below snippet is something i have quite blatantly cut 'n' paste' from the news section on the Zeroin forum... Nurse, prepare the paitent for his kidney removal surgery!

Celcius are releasing many new guns in the near future, as STTS haven't posted anything on here, thought i'd do it on their behalf. Pulled of our forum:

They all have improvements on the MX2 / Team alpha. The MX3 and Team Alpha 2 have:

NEW ECU Fitted – Selectable Which Allows 3 Round Burst & Fully Automatic In The Same Weapon
NEW Strengthened Sun Gear Fitted
NEW Hop Chamber To Give A Better Air Seal
S-T-T-S Upgraded stainless steel air nozzle fitted
NEW Design MOSFET Unit Fitted

They also have the new typhoon 2 style motor. This is all good, and the MX3 is RRP £729.99 and the Team Alpha 2 is RRP £567.89

The most interesting thing is the CTW Ghost.

This gun is so carefully made the factory is only able to make 4 per month.

450-500FPS – A LiPo 11.1v 2400mAh 20C battery

Also in the box:

An instruction manual and safe weapon handling guide on CD
An exploded parts diagram on CD
BB Speed Loader
Cleaning Rod
S-T-T-S Warranty Card – This must be completed and returned to register
S-T-T-S User Guide
Celcius ‘Stand Fast….. Fight Hard’ Velcro Unit badge

What interested me most about the ghost is the motor with cooling fan

Thats got to be a first?

Anyway, all the best,

CK

The CTW Ghost, although costing the same as the national defecit for a small country comes with a 24 month warranty... 2 frigging years... i have had brand new cars with less warranty than that!

I would not be at all surprised if the ECU and the new MOSFET are copies of the eTiny units.

I would imagine they are a copy of something... save on the R&D bill if you only need to acquire the same bits and put them together in the same order.

Aren't the eTiny units meant to be half decent?

Don't know about the ECU, but the eTiny MOSFET I had has failed - reminds me, I need to send a strongly worded email to the UK retailer I purchased it from <_<

i have been selling the etiny units for a few months now and have had no problems with them. i had a couple people short them out against the motor, but no factory issues.

the mosfets in the new guns are still gigantic, they have a bigger heat sink, so they aren't copies of the etiny units. the ECU appears to be, though that's not a bad thing. there's going to be a 2nd custom style gun clocking OOTB at ~600 FPS with the same features as the Ghost. forgot the details though. the custom guns are going to be about 2 grand USD each.

I have heard very mixed reports about the reliability of this gun so will be sticking to my G&P + ASCU combo!

Could well be either, a Systema GB will do that if you try and run to powerful a spring in it (aka its not a MAX and you pop in a red cylinder). The only CTW I have seen died on its first outing after maybe 1-1.5 k rounds and it was a motor burn out (just like the old 08's used to, guess they didn't think to fix that issue).

Until I have seen a CTW being used as often as I use my PTW's (at least once a week if not twice and thats about 2000-3000 rounds per week) and not failing I won't be buying one, but I might consider getting one of the uppers from the 416 version.

the motors on ctws burn out for a different reason than ptws. ptw magnet wires arent properly attached to the commutator (wires not stripped properly and not soldered) and ctw magnet wires are just crappy and break in random places aparantly due to vibration and heat.

I have seen the "416" they are releasing and its basically just an M4 with a 416 RIS shoved on the end, it isn't a very good replica.
