Tommygunn
For some reason it struck me that it would be worth investigating if my CA M24 magazines could have their capacity increased and, yes, they can. First, I stripped them down to their inners and removed the guts. Then, because the spring is not long enough to fit the entire unused bb channel I reversed the spring guide and determined that, to maintain a slight amount spring tension, I needed to pad out about 25mm of space behind the guide. To do this I superglued 7 bb's in a staggered formation. Now, instead of the mags holding the usual 26bb's they now hold 36 to 37 and 38 at a real squeeze, but you might damage one of the feed lips if you push it. Of course, this mod should be applicable to the APS2 and you might be able to get a few more bb's in depending on the spring length and tension. It's for you to experiment with but you've got the basic idea. Tom.
