Time to pass the torch on this one.

 

For Sale is WA M1911A1 Commercial Military (magnatech) with Prime M1911A1 metal kit and CAW wood grips. I think I replaced the springs too but can't remember exactly as it was some 6+ years ago.

 

Special with this one is that it came with stainless steel inner barrel and the other one was brass (both 6.03mm). The brass one is nothing to write home about but the stainless one with the fixed hop lobs 0.28bbs some 65m away and is the most long ranging pistol I have had/tested even compared to mates LRBd WA MEU. I also find it very accurate though there is some play with the slide fit.

 

I don't collect guns to look them, I skirmish them and so this one has marks from living in a Serpa holster and has its slide catch hollowed so that the magnatech grooveless slide stop fits. This was to prevent slide catch wear and thus it is still as good as day one regardless of heavy use.

 

Chronoes ~0,96J with G&G 0.28g & Green Gas  at around 18'C.

 

So if it the best thing since sliced bread why letting go? It's because of the single stack green gas mags that can fire the whole mag continuously only in ideal conditions. Other than that I find little wrong with it and have been reluctant of putting this add for couple of years.

 

With the gun comes

3 magazines, one has guarder feed lips, 2 of the mags occasionally leak if left unlubed, have used propane at one point

2 complete spare plastic bodies

1 complete spare internals with worn sear

1 spare replacement guarder feed lips
