info from inokatsu's website:

QUOTE
GALIL AR
CNC FULL STEEL
FULL GUN USD 1,530.00
KIT USD 1,120.00

Looks great, and the fact that they are releasing a kit may be a clue to what escorts next gun may be (that, and SniperX mentioning it a while ago on ca.net).

... sticking with KJW hicapas because of Koba is like buying a marui M9 springer because of the vsr hop up.

hopefully their next step is the production of the non-cnc milled version and a price tag of 350-500 instead, but its only a dream

Those Inokatsu guys are most probably seriously dicked! This gun costs as much as a high-end PC!

*fruitcage* priceless, the stupid *suitcases* actually thought they had found 5 kilos of Columbian marching powder, and actually had a sniff of it off the safe zone table.

If sniper x builds one then its going to uber expensive. Escort charge 2000 dollars for the inokatsu m60 and recently sold and escort ak for 1800 dollars ohmy.gif

Would love that galil in full gas blow back would be very nice

Is there really much practical noticable difference between CNC and milled? I understand the CNC one will be the most precise of all but won't we be talking millimeter differences that we will barely notice?

I wonder what the ARM is going to cost, since it's a bit bigger and has more parts to it.

CNC only means that the milling machine or lathe is controlled by a computer. If by milled you mean traditional manual machining, it would be even more expensive.

Very sexy but not worth the price, at least for me.

My money can wait for an FNC/AK5 instead.

Anyway, CNC quality is waaay above some CA249 (pressure) die casting.

You can pretty much expect a price of $500 and up on anything Inokatsu. These guys don't muck about when it comes to making replicas. As an owner of the Escort M60, and the Guarder AK with Escort internals ($2800 not $1800 BTW) the quality is that of real steel. These guys are on the same level of Shoei and Hudson when it comes to detail.

As for the Galil, I've got the old FTC ARM, it's good for looks but I'd like a metal one, since it's the only Galil I like. I doubt Escort would be making this since they pretty much count on Marui for mags. Besides, SniperX has mentioned quite a few projects over the years, only a few have ever seen the light of day.

Funny how the russkies can make the real steel AK at ... real steel quality, for less than 400 USD retail even with the finnish 22% VAT.

It's not about quality (which admittedly is high), but production and sales volume.

If they'd done the SAR then I'd be in danger of causing grevious damage to my credit card...
