I'll be looking to find one the the PEQ15 when I go to Taiwan later this year.....not in a hurry for those, but would make for a nice buy there IMO....

 

The random ACM PEQ15 is pretty much cr*p anyhow....

I also give Chris a huge amount of respect because he and Haley have been fantastically successful in getting REAL gun owners to actively seek out more and more training.

+1. You can't imagine how many people think all you need is a firearm when SHTF. Training does wonders.

 

I hope the VFC PEQ15 will come with a tail switch.

I know Travis Haley from my old unit. He is a pretty cool guy and he has a lot of practical knowledge and when he spoke everyone listened. He isn't some really pro-guy who thinks he is the best either, there were a few even more veteran'ed operators there at the time and he looked up to them as well.

 

But anyway, I'm guessing this VFC PEQ-15 (I already have the battery case version) won't house a battery? It's all laser and light?

So it seems, though I may be wrong. This will probably be like the G&P PEQ-2, functional visible light and laser for a mere $100(for the G&P anyway), solid construction, and something like 1/10th the price of the real deal. I'll probably pick one up when I've got my more pressing airsoft needs done.

G&P PEQII was pretty good, just kinda bulky and the "tan" color is very toy-like....this look more FDE....which may fit better with FDE colored accessories...

More like 1/20th the cost, and good luck finding a real one. That said the G&P was a great unit, and it even accepted a lot of the real parts such as the mounts.

Anyone find an approximate release date on the PEQ? I didn't see anything in the last few pages.

 

The M4 looks like any other KAC to me, but the fact that they actually put a reasonably bright LED flashlight in that PEQ is cool to see.

 

For the price I'm guessing $95..

I'm compelled to wait for someone to compare the VFC and G&P (when they sort their lives out) with the real one and then buy the more realistic version! anyone else thinking the same?

Yup, and about $80 USD (plus shipping). I wonder if EBB will come out with it after with a lower price...

Me too, most likely in FDE. But I'll be on the lookout for the EBB version if any. That VFC Combat Master (11.5" SR-15E URX) would be good for someone trying to build a "Costa" styled SBR because RS and replica parts for those can be expensive and hard to come by sometimes.

Any ideea if TAN and FDE is the same color, or same contrast?

 

Edit: TAN should be lighter, well will see when it will be released.
