well, as far as the IAR, that is exactly what i am doing, kinnerley. ive already ordered everything i need, and a G&P M4A1 is the host. so yes.
but MAGZ, you are right, there is no replica of that rail yet, i had to settle for a troy. and the barrel im using will be a 16" with a clamp on gas block front sight. again, that is for the M6A4 IAR, not the M6A2 or PSD. -Joe -------------------- "AS MARINES, OUR MESSAGE TO OUR FOES HAS ALWAYS BEEN ESSENTIALLY THE SAME: WE OWN THIS SIDE OF THE STREET! Unless I'm missing something, looking at those pics, it makes me wonder what Troy, VLTOR, and Magpul...especially Magpul, will think when they see clones of their products being sold with the CA. (Troy sights, VLTOR and Magpul stocks. Edit: Looks like there's a MIAD on the PSD, so that as well.)
Other than that speed-bump, they look good thus far, methinks. -Vic This post has been edited by Victory: Feb 13 2009, 03:12 AM -------------------- QUOTE Though, still waiting for Vic to taint it. He knows what I mean. |

Yeah, that's what I had figured. Thought I'd stick it out there anyway. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Those are Official Magpul-PTS MOE parts on the PSD.
The Emod stock is a replica on the M6, but side battery compartments are larger to hold Sub-C Crane batteries and has a new quick Crane battery install design unlike the current difficult to install CA Crane Stock battery design. -------------------- |

i know most of you probably have noticed, but i didnt see nay one mention it yet, so ill say it.
But the CA's new hop up unit looks very similar to the ICS (m4) one. Does anyone think that they'll be compatible? -------------------- Not enough ICS!!!

I think the white trademarks ruin it, imo

Just handled one, it feels very good and comfortable in your hands, although like what you guys said before, the white trademarks spoiled the effect of a realistic gun. Haven't shot it or chronoed it at the moment, but from the externals it looks quite good.

Those last pics Orca posted are much more promising than the original release pics. I could live without the Classic Army engraving on the right side of the lower receiver, but it isn't that horrible or noticeable. I'll definitely check it out once available at AEX.

You could always fill it in with some putty or something. It's not a bad looking rifle. I just don't like the "auto" selector marking. -------------------- ![]() Signature graphic made by Onikozah |

I handled a real steel LWRC M6A3 today ... After paying close attention to the aesthetics of it, I'd say the pics Orca posted shows that CA are right on the money in terms of stampings, laser engravings, and finish. Now there's only one problem ... I want a RS LWRC M6A3! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

The "M6A2" is available, bt not the PSD, and the guys from CA told me that they had no idea of when the PSD is going to be released Hi (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Thank you for your answer, do you know where I can find it? I tried redwolf, wgc etc... nothing (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Also Do you think the handguard can be purchased separately?
