I have heard that the black is scheduled to be realesed similar to the black and wood effect AK74's they did (or 101's). It would look better to be honest.

It would help a team planning on a team full of SCAR's if the conversion kits came out (DMR and Support weapon type).

p.s. Actually if it accepts the STANAG mags then it could take a dual drum mag to be come a support with a slightly longer barrel, outer barrel and bipod, no kit required. Hmm

that would be pretty cool really, a team full of scar users, im having a dilemma at the moment, to wait for a black scar, or get a vfc 416

Well a six man team with all SCAR's (one DMR and one Support) will make a good Ghost Recon team, with comms and multi-cam.

So a SCAR L with a Beta C drum mag makes it a support weapon eh? Go with STAR's SCAR when it comes out if you want to change barrels, like from 12" to 18".

EDIT: WTF That gun doesn't even have the right flashhider!

Well I suppose that is plus, if it is compatible with TM style barrels.
But, the VFC barrel is PINNED, yes you heard corectly, pinned!

With SAS i have found that if you order and then ring them, they then bother to send it, i have done deals with them twice and the item has turned up in 2-3 days easily. The SCAR with a drum mag and extended barrel does make for a good support as that was the intentional design, to make it capable of 4 types in one (Rifle, Carbine, DMR and Support) similar to the G36 modular system. The SCAR is just the American answer to modulation with a 7.62 rifle type added in as well (the SCAR-H), so a full conversion kit may be released as it wouldnt be hard to do.
