Looks as though G&P has a load of new metal bodies for AKs. They bare resemblance to many of the previous G&P releases, but with a new FN-style pistol grip and a slightly updated body style.

Now if only they could get it the rest of the way there and base the body on a STAMPED receiver instead of a milled one -- hint, hint -- and I'd be really happy. wink.gif

Lots of different examples here: http://www.gp-web.com/en/products.php?cid=...PWEB&bid=GP_MEB

Here are a few examples:

Grrr, why can't they come out with a Stamped one for the same price as the Milled version in the states.

Oh no, the cat's out of the bag now, the national security of every country in the Western world has been compromised because we all now know exactly what super secret armour carrier is used by a civilian shooting instructor who works for a company which founded itself as an alternative to paracord and duct tape.

mrk, watch your back dude, Chris Costa's beard is going to come and get you, I imagine in a similar way that Chuck Norris' might, and when it's done with you, Matt Johnson is going to make you a 750D Cordura bodybag (it's innovatively better than 500D and 1000D, naturally), in a khaki colour that's not quite green, not quite tan, not quite khaki. With grey trim, of course.

Those grips are surprisingly comfortable... it looks pretty plain but they're one of my favorite styles. I really don't like the AK-47's grip and this looks pretty good on the receiver.

Only the solid stock unfortunately.

I tried, and the other types--folding and collapsible--don't mate up properly. sad.gif
