just found these things at airsoft scotland, they look much better than the pinapple grenades.

The review thingy from Airsoft scotland

Dangerzone BB Grenade - Can type
As it says! A can shaped BB grenade, identical in function to the more common pineapple grenades. Of slightly more robust construction so less likely to suffer from 'pocket damage'! Oh, they make a bigger bang too........

[edit] looks like they have mk.9 thunderflashes now aswell  wink.gif

Little off topic, but how exactly do those enola gaye grenades work?  If its another pyro thing then I'm not considering one.

Yeah, it's a pyro charge. They are the same as the paintball ones, but with bb's instead of a bag of paint., you light the 3-4 second fuse with the self contained striker, and throw. Quite cool, I wouldn't worry about the explosives though, I saw one go off next to someones leg ( I threw it....  wink.gif  lol) and it did them no damage at all.

EDIT: sorry, I'd written some of it in text.

I'm not sure how new these are....but I was buying some for the first time at Lightfighter Urban.

Boomer: We haven't tested these yet. Not sure if you'll be allowed to use them in buildings.
Me: I'll just take mk5's then. Want to be able to use them indoors. These would be more fun though....
Boomer: Hang on.

Boomer picks a grenade off the counter, strikes it, and throws it into an adjoining office where bam bam is chrono-ing. Then shuts the door.

Bam Bam:WTF?  yikes.gif

Boom!

Boomer: Yeah, you can use them indoors.
Me: O....k.....

Yeah, I'd reccomend them. They feel a lot nicer, and certainly for woodland/outdoors the additional heft is very useful it getting them to fly that much further.

My major issue was the fact that ten mk5's cost £25 whereas ten of the can type cost £35. For a softer on a budget, that's a big difference for no real tactical advantage in an indoor evironment, which is where they are most effective.

Basically, if cost was not an issue, I'd pick the can grenades.
