Available in either 14mm CW or a 14mm CCW threading.
Originally, these had VLTOR trademarks on them. I was concerned that they didn't get the contract settled with VLTOR whom they were hoping to license it (as they are the makers of the real steel version). Early prototype pics at the ProudTactical website clearly showed the trademarks on them. Weeks ago, I asked when they would be available and Proud said that they were waiting to get the legal matters finaled with VLTOR but that they should be released soon. Weeks go by and I emailed them again last night. I guess at that very same moment WGC updated their website to show they now had the M4K in stock, however, as you can see from the above pics, there doesn't appear to be trademarks on them. I inquired with PROUD:
And they wrote back:
So apparently the trademarks are still there. It appears they mass produced all of the first run of the M4K Flashhiders prior to getting the licensing agreement with VLTOR. Chances are VLTOR agreed, except with the caveat that the cut VLTOR receives was probably really high: For example, the VLTOR M4 receiver is actually produced by G&P and is sold as a licensed product by VLTOR. The G&P receivers normally cost US$100, however in order for G&P to make any money off the VLTOR licensed receiver, they had to jack up the price to US$195 to cover licensing costs. Because PROUD already made the flashhiders, they covered up the trademark engraving "with a marker pen". I'm a little skeptical as to how easy it will be to remove this concealment "by a cloth". We'll soon see as I have one on the way. I just hope WGC doesn't do anything else to the trademarks as they are notorious for attacking trademarks with dremels.
As for what the RS M4K was made to go on:
