It's full auto so, ummm, yeah. Probably.

i cringed about alot of it, namely the fact that stealth said it was a full auto usp, then the last ic gave it an extended mag, and a red dot, and look at those accuracy results, they have to be a lienot unless someone moved the targets to intercept the bb's tongue.gif

nut in all onesty this is just the exact same as theyre M93r but with a usp body, look at the mags ect, it all adds up to cutting costs, which is a shame really, i would have liked something more realistic, like a semi only usp tongue.gif

amature translation attempt from the 3rd photo (phrases from top to bottom): "new development", "high capacity nickle metal hydride battery, able to fire up to 2,500 shots", "cost of charging battery (2 hours) is below 2 yen!", and some other stuff about the "full set" (same dealio w/ the previous AEPs, means that the package includes battery and charger).

Trivium: how is the AEP "stupid"? Do you think that the AEP is not cost-efficient? lacks ammo capacity? lacks upgrade potential? lacks range? What do you mean when you say that the AEP is "stupid"?

Are they still making the Skorpion? That's the only AEP I'd ever buy.(except for an upgraded MP7)

Battery is a 500mah. I saw that on last issue of Arms Magazine.

I'm with trivium, i dont like the idea of aeg pistols.
-no blowback (though some people prefer nbb so its subjective)
-related, the slide does not move at all. even the tm socom nbb has the ability to chamber a round manually
-the stick mags look silly
-the 100 rd mags look ridiculous

i do appreciate the technology that goes into an aep, and yes it is more cost effective and a good amount of upgrades are available. but if anything there is too much ammo for the user. TM can get away with full auto g18c and m93r, but why must the usp be full auto as well? all the mags look the same and the guns still retain the standard mag base plate even when you're using extended mags.

For those of us whole play in places where the temp drops to freezing in the winter...AEPS are essential.
GBB's dont work at all when it's 35 degrees and raining.

I can agree on you a lot of things, but the thing that got me ticked was the fact that it's a full/semi... TM isn't known for getting guns that function differently than the real thing...

I think I'm gonna get one when the prices start going down... I need a really, really reliable pistol (I've had bad experiences with GBBs), so I guess this is it...

Absolutely. I'd much rather carry a GBB, but what is the point when you can't rely on it in a tight spot?

Remember... this is for the Japanese market... We just happen to benefit from their products. So maybe the Japanese people prefer AEP's over GBB's which is understandable. If it were just based on whether an AEP or a GBB will perform as a better backup weapon, in most situations I'd say an AEP.

That said, since i value very much the blow back feature of gas pistols, i'm sticking with GBB's.

this does pose the question, why yet another USP? surley there are plenty of USP's out there? why not make something a bit more special and unique? it breaks my little heart every single time a company releases yet another Colt, Desert Eagle, Sig, USP etc. more variation could only be good right?
