I don't know if anyone has posted this yet, but here's some interesting news I found from Airsoft News EU at IWA '07.

- Classic Army GBB replicas. World premiere of M1911 (aluminum frame and slide) and G26 (only slide is metal). Very interesting turn of events for Classic Army as they try to move in previously uncharted waters.

I love 1911's, but for Classic army this is something new, so I'm kind of iffy.....still though aluminum slide/frame, AWSOME!!!

I was just looking at them on AA's website too - just pictures, before anyone gets excited.

Well i guess the sky is trully falling down now smile.gif

I kinda like the alu design for the M1911, but i still want my glock in plastic.

These ECOBB bags, are they from CA too, so i could order them without having to contact 100 shops for availability? Because since the disappearance of the Biovals here the bio BB's i get to use are kinda crappy, especially with my mk43.

There are so many different custom 1911 makers but I think WA might have monopolized most of them so they will probably end up going with "government" style markings, minus any company name. They should make a Steyr M seeing as they do have business with Steyr (and as far as I know, nobody does) biggrin.gif

here's the thing- if these turn out to be a big success- and frankly, if they can get/repiclate the gas technology well enough, I see no reason why they SHOULDN'T be a success...

how long will it be before CA start wondering about dropping GBB technology into submachine guns, possibly even fullsize rifles?

I know TM NEVER made this leap, but CA...well, its always a posibility, I suppose...

That 1911 doesn't have a trigger. Are we sure thier not just bringing out an aluminum body for the TM 1911?

Or am i blind?

you're blind smile.gif

Its kind of hard to see but there is one. It just blends in with the shadow.

Well they didn't do bad on their launchers so I guess a GBB is possible.
