Well looks like SRC is doing a KV version of the G36 and a regular SR36E with a bipod.

Damn, SRC might just end up on the same level as CA and Marui if these guns use the same internals as the XM8. At this price, these are easily as good as an ICS or CA in my book.

Closer than anything else I've seen, but looks a bit low still.

If only they'd expand their XM8 line as well. *dreams of XM8 Compact* But good going SRC, quickly climbing the ladder.

You and me both!

If it's cheap enough I may go for that SR36 MG. Slap a drum mag on there and I'm good to go tongue.gif

I like the SR36E. Very nice.

Oh no, the cat's out of the bag now, the national security of every country in the Western world has been compromised because we all now know exactly what super secret armour carrier is used by a civilian shooting instructor who works for a company which founded itself as an alternative to paracord and duct tape.

mrk, watch your back dude, Chris Costa's beard is going to come and get you, I imagine in a similar way that Chuck Norris' might, and when it's done with you, Matt Johnson is going to make you a 750D Cordura bodybag (it's innovatively better than 500D and 1000D, naturally), in a khaki colour that's not quite green, not quite tan, not quite khaki. With grey trim, of course.

GAH! That KV rail!! Does SRC sell parts separately? And did the KV always have a bayonet mount?

A bit off topic here, but does anyone know what happened to the host of other guns that SRC promised, paricularly the Galil? It is a perpetual state of "coming soon" on their website; anyone have info about it?

Just realised that's a pic of the real prototype G36KV, kinda undermined my comment sad.gif .

The G36KV was designed for the Norwegians but was never actually mass produced. AFAIK they use the G36K A2, like the Germans.

Im very impressed with SRC. At first their M4 was okay but from what I hear the G36 series is amazing! Like ORH said if they keep this up they're gonna become a major company.

Im eyin that MG36, slap a cmag on that baby and you've got yourself a weapon!

Do you mean the aluminum "ksk" rail?

Its not really similar at all, its basically a longer version of the C one but without the bits in the middle.
