The battery would obviously need to be mounted externaly, either using a PEQII style box or one of these which are excellent and can take up to a 10.8v 1400mAh battery!

I think this would seriously complement any SMG style weapon where an external rig without visible cables is wanted!

that what i figured..
but that thing you show would need to be mounted on the upper receiver making even less room for a reddot. think i'll go with a crane stock instead tongue.gif

That's why you use an off center or drop down adapter.

Actually I thought the same until I tried it out on my SMG and it actually looks pretty good. Also as this is a CQB weapon designed not to be fired from the shoulder, negates the need for a conventional aiming device.

I think you'll find that a mini battery fits inside the foregrip.

They didn't go to all the effort of milling away the sides of the outer barrel out of boredom.

A: To get to the same side.

Well the old PDI Patriot kit's could take a battery setup in the stock/buffer tube.

And was ressurected as an Xfire poduct later:

Even have instructs.. http://www.x-fire.org/aeg/2004aeg/batcase/case.htm

They went up to 12v on these patriot kits:

But yeah too bad on the Madbull kits not accomodating an internal battery ;(

yes, it's why i asked, because the buffer tube doesn't seem big enough on the madbull one.

but stealthbomber might be on to something

for 50$ i'll take one, even if i have to put on a crane stock smile.gif

...and the battery wires leading into the foregrip tell of a foregrip mounted battery at all.

Yeah, it's pretty obvious that they are designing the entire front assembly to fit a mini battery.

I just saw one of these, and I must say the muzzle brake seems even beefier in real life! Now I need one... With a C-Mag! biggrin.gif
