Yah, its wierd. Info for this gun is very scarce and when you find it it is in Japanese so whatever it says gets lost in translation as they say. It also doesn't help that Airsoft Global just copied and pasted its description from another sight. But from what I gather it is a shell system but only shoots BB at a time. I cannot verify this, but from another pic I have you can see the front of the gun's barrel as well as the inner barrel and I don't think you can see Marui's signature tri-barrel system.

EDIT: found the link with the pictures:

Judging from the picture I would say that its single shot only.

Google Translation from First Factory website states:

It takes a magazine that holds 29 rounds. and looks like this:

http://www.first-jp.com/items/05/01/04/det...de=0501CAW00002

Spring. Pump Action... Unlike the real semitauto M4 ;(

First Factory Website also states this weird tidbit:

QUOTE ("First Factory")
The BB bullet inside the magazine everything is shot, exhausting
The BB bullet of 4~5 departure remains behind to this internal.
Please pay attention to handling sufficiently.

So it may fire multiple shots per pump. Blame Google for bad info if not ;P

Thanks Orca, that sounds interesting if it does indeed shoot more than one BB per shot. Maybe even a new shotgun system perhaps? All I know is that I want one.

it shoots one bb per shot. just like CA870 but in new body with marui shell mag system.

boring as it can get unless you are diehard fan of benelli m4.

That will be like the BBs that stay in the loading tube of your AEGs when the mag is "empry", the ones you can shoot by turning the gun upside-down.

that sounds intressting! i was wondering on how they planned on selling an "automatic" shotgun, wich you have to cock forward to shoot... huh.gif
But this does sound alot better actually smile.gif might explain why the magazine has the bb's feeding from the sidewall rather then the top... and the :

I hope someone picks one up and does a review of it. I've always liked the Benelli M4 Super 90/XM1014. I just hope its more than a single shot per pump shot gun like the G&P models. Not exactly the most innovate or useful system to put in a shot gun. dry.gif

Yeah, but if you think about it, the Maruzen (G&P only take Maruzen guns and build them up with GP parts) shotgun is essentially a spring rifle that can be upgraded to high velocity on par with the VSR.

iirc the M1014 is semi by default, but can be made to be pump, so not entirely unrealistic just a bit less fun

You're thinking of the older M3, the M4 is semi auto only.

You have to be able to cycle the action manually or else you would buy one, load it and then have to just put it on a shelf and look at it.
And if pixies made ready in the night you could then fire it but not clear stoppages.

thankfully they aren't charging horrific prices for it though...

Sort of both, the Maruzen 1100 is a semi auto only AS shottie, there is a shotgun of this type on the market already.
However, this new one is spring and if you had to use the cocking handle to cycle the action it would be a total pain.

So it is a single BB, slide action, non shell ejecting replica of a semi auto shotgun with no slide action.

Seems a bit pointless.

Useless piece of rubbish. What a cop-out! Shoulda been a hardcore gas semi-auto beast of a thing, not another one-shot springer.

I expected better from CAW. They've taken a rather nice model and been incredibly lazy and unimaginitive with it. Even Maruzen would've made the thing actually WORK.

total disappointment really. I love the Benelli M4. Shame its pumpy and single shot. I mean at least they could retain TM design with reinforced internals so still shoots 3 rounds pershot, yet upgradable unlike TM, that at least would make a bit more interesting.

Like Crazy Harry said, at least it's cheap.

I hope maruzen makes one with proper gas powered semiauto and mag loaded like defender series. At least it is semiauto and shoots 3 rounds per shot. Even M1100 becomes hell a lot less headache if they ressurect mag loading system.
