There was an RPG about some time ago, think it went for about 3k for the launcher and 350 for a dummy rpg shell that took a moscart!

If the price on this one is good ill think about getting one.

It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, but that not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so if every planet in the universe has a population of zero, then the entire population of the universe must also be zero, and any people you may meet from time to time are merely the products of a deranged imagination.

Thats because deepfire make a M72 LAW not a RPG.

Same basic job (in real steel terms) but the LAW is a US/NATO weapon and the RPG is a Russian and former soviet client states weapon.

Theres some LAWs in the bottom righthand photo. Typical, as soon as I buy the Deep Fire M72 someone goes off and makes a (no doubt cheaper) one. Ahh well.

I hope that the PRG has proper looking rockets that fit in it, even if they are just housing around a 40mm moscart. Would look a bit naff running around shooting at people with what would appear to be an unloaded RPG tongue.gif

I always did find it funny you can pick up for under $10US a RS RPG in the Middle East but an airsoft replica runs upto thousands.

Hopefully won't cost too much as it would make a nice inclusion to games.

Yes I have always found it shocking how an airsoft gun with a limited run where more expensive then a weapon which was mass produced in the thousands, at least.

Smokey Gun Factory released an airsoft RPG circa de 1998-99 ..retail was about $1300-1500. Once in a blue moon, you'll see one posted for sale for about the same price. . .Very nice built quality. .very heavy.

This clone will be awesome for airsoft skirmishing. . I can bet it's going to be under $800

You pretty much just answered your own question. If its limited/rare, the value of it goes up. As opposed to a chinese AEG clone which you can get anywhere.

This is very interesting news though. I'm looking sharply at the M72's. Wonder if these will actually be stocked at HK retailers and how they work.

well. .do you know or understand the First Law of Economics: Supply and Demand vs Price

lower the qty. . higher the cost for manufacturing. .higher the retail price. . if demand is higher, then higher retail price.

Ex. Honda S2000 or Mini Cooper. Both were released in limited qtys because they weren't ready for the demand. . . S2000s were MSRP at about $23k USD. Demand was so high that dealers were charging $32-35k for them. .and people were paying.

Same goes for the Mini. MSRP is about $18-19k Yet the demand was so high that dealers are charging MSRP of $23-25k. . not even a Cooper S. Cooper S are selling for $30-35K in the US. .rediculous!

higher the qty. . .lower the cost of manufacturing. . lower retail price.

very simple to understand. . .

The Smokey's RPG is limited to about 100 pieces worldwide. . thus $1000+ retail price. .all CNC machined.. so imagine if the Chinese Clones are mass producing them (meaing die castings, not CNC machining). . like in the thousands or even 10s of thousands. . you're talking about a retail cost of maybe $500 or far less. .

mrk, watch your back dude, Chris Costa's beard is going to come and get you, I imagine in a similar way that Chuck Norris' might, and when it's done with you, Matt Johnson is going to make you a 750D Cordura bodybag (it's innovatively better than 500D and 1000D, naturally), in a khaki colour that's not quite green, not quite tan, not quite khaki. With grey trim, of course.
