I have mixed feelings about this one, however, if it can feed the STAR MP7 mags I might think about picking up one. For 90 dollars it's not that bad.

Shoots at 265fps too! great little gun.

So far I've only really shot it at back-yard ranges and it's been accurate.
TBH, it's a CQB weapon and even if the hop-up isn't terrific it shouldn't matter if you're using the gun in the correct environment.

"Performance & Accuracy
Despite its size, for all intents and purposes this is a full AEG. The only difference is the reduced magazine capacity thus, for our first accuracy test, we will start using .25 gram ammo. Loading the magazine was quick and easy as was insertion into the grip. Depending on the last firing cycle, the gun was either immediately ready to fire or required an inital shot to load the first round.
The first five shots averaged 225.4 fps, which is below average for an AEG and even a gas pistol. The trigger pull distance is medium and spongy but weapon discharge was predictable. Switching over to .20g ammo resulted in an enormous jump to an average of 322.3 fps, a 30% increase making it clear that this weapon was designed for .20 gram ammunition. Neither .20g or .25g BB's had enough momentum to fully puncture an empty soda can." Hmmmmmmm

I don't know if I believe that figure. I can't be sure but I doubt there would be 100 fps difference between .05g rounds. I can buy 265 fps, but not 300+ from that tiny motor.

Yeah, I know. Most full size AEGs are less than that. I bet with a nineball spring it would not be able to reach that.

Tried the gun at a skirmish today and, embarassingly, forgot to take the manual so I wasn't sure which way to twiddle the dial to increase the hop.
In any case, as others have said, the difference between "fully one way" and "fully the other way" were minimal.
Even so, the gun passed the "gate-post test" at a range of 20m.
It's fine for CQB or as a defensive back-up in woodland but you wouldn't plan on shooting people with it in woodland.

That makes me feel much better about purchasing this. For 90 dollars I can't really go wrong. And if it takes the MAG brand 50 and 100 rounders that just sold it for me all things considered. I'm just looking for a backup and/or winter sidearm.

I haven't had a chance to test my one out after cleaning the hop rubber with detergent yet. Hopefully it'll make my hop work

I read on a shop's website that the WELL battery is slightly longer and won't work in a Marui, not sure if this means the Marui won't work in the WELL.

Both mine had no hop effect noticable and were only able to shoot about 15-20meters max.
Yes, I bought two from RSOV. Sue me.
