Greetings there guys,

I'm part of the team down at Lindsey Airsoft, 'Lincolnshire's premier Airsoft site' and it is my plesure to announce that we will be holding...

A 48 HOUR MILSIM WEEKENDER!

So far I dont know a great deal about it, as its still being planned but we're planning big things! I'll keep everyone posted when I get details.

So far, what I can tell you is....

Location - Lindsey Airsoft in Lincolnshire. Lindsey Airsoft has a massive battlefield like site with plenty of objects in the field.

Price - The price for the entire weekend will be £70.

Timings and date - Not confirmed but we're looking the end of June so either 21/22/23 or 29/30/01(July) and starting at about 22:00 on the Friday and finishing around 17:00 on the Sunday.

Event - This is a MILSIM event meaning there will be magazine limitations, command structures, radios and uniform rules. If this isnt your thing then this event isn't for you!

We are endeavouring to make this a brilliant event that people will want to come back to so expect a lot more from me in the next few days. A event site/forum will be appearing on the net soon and hopefully we can aquire an Arnie's sub section.
Not sure how many places are avalible, most likely in around the 150/200 figure. Can't say what the age limit will be on this event, its something that will be discussed.

This is the first time a big (we hope anyway) MILSIM event is happening in the North so if you've not been to any of the big name events because of their location, this is for you!

Sounds excellent. I'm definitely interested - I'll probably still be jetlagged though, as I only get back from a fortnight in Thailand a day or so before! smile.gif

If you want a sub section give me a shout with the title, description and who you wish to be moderators, and I'll ask Arnie if he can set it up. smile.gif

MG36's are not counted as support weapons, nor are M16's with boxmags or any other bizarre and bespoke combination that you may of seen on military photographs.

A little insider at this point...
- Expect a lot of big bangs, we're spending a lot of money on big pyrotechnics.
- Lots of stalls. We've already confirmed some big airsoft names retailing at this event and we're in the process of adding more to the list along with gear suppliers.
- Real tactics, real teamwork, real combat. Were getting lots of gear in and using what we have avalible to us to make this a quality MILSIM experience.

BUT WE NEED YOU! The website will be up hopefully by the end of the month will more complete dedails but we need people to spread the word! Teams and individuals are all welcome and were reaching out to the whole nation!

Regards,
Chris

Any questions, please feel free to PM me with any questions and I will endeavor to answer them or pass them onto someone that can.

To avoid yet more intarweb bickering ruining yet another major UK airsofting event, I've pulled all questionable content in the original post (at Kousnik's request I should point out), and also pruned the thread to keep it on topic.

Cheers.

I have a question, I could ask Kousnik personally, but others might want to know...Your ammo restrictions have not made any provisions for pistols, but as far as I know (and I'll admit I don't know all that much really) most armed forces do use pistols...Ammo restrictions for pistols, if pistols are being allowed please?

Good question, sadly its not one I can answer off the top of my head. All rules are constantly being revised so nothing is set in stone. I doubt there will be a pistol magazine limit impossed, due to the fact that the pistol is purely a sidearm, but we will have to wait and see.

Thanks my good man, I'm looking forward to this, just a shame I couldn't get an M249 for my wannabe support gunner role sad.gif
