they also come with a scope rail apparantly, though it'll only work for RDS since its so far forwards.

Simple to be cheaper when you can just copy instead of engineer.

Wow, very surprised at the price. I only hope thier wood stocks are going to be as cheap.

They're rather nice - the stocks are textured all over, and the grip is brilliant.

The only thing I'm worried about is that the mags look a bit like G&G ones, and we all know how great the G&G M14s are... rolleyes.gif

Does anyone know if the trademarks are accurate?
WTF: King Arms Acog Replica. I sold $6000 dollars worth of real gear within 3 months, but I can't sell a damn $60 brand new scope!
WTB: AI Admin w/ Light Holder Coyote Brown.
WTB: AI MAP RG.
WTB: AI MBSS PC Khaki. Tan buckles ok.
Want To Trade: My new Coyote Brown AI MBSS PC L/XL for your CB or Khaki AI MBSS S/M.

Except for the white paint on the serial number, they appear to be fairly accurate.

Or you could use an extended relief scope, such as a pistol scope or a purpose-built scout scope.

Wallhanger are mostly cheaper than great perfomer smile.gif The CAs are supposed to be G&G copies. That´s why the mags look so familliar.

why would they do that though? they know the TM one has more clones and sales... ohh well if its just as good as G&G's quality then G&G is going out of business soon lol.

Going to be interesting to see how it performs. If they've taken the G&G 'box and ironed out the problems (crappy fire selector and trigger feel to name two of them) then they could be getting some money from me.

The above post is purely my point of view, and may not represent any organisation I am associated with...

I will be away from the 14/09/09 to the 16/09/09. If I do not reply to PM's about sales items I've not done a bunk - it's just that I will have absolutely NO internet connection for those three days.

Larger HiCap and probably better metals too? 7mm gearbox? I dunno, i'm shooting the wind with this one tongue.gif more expensive mags?

Scooberoo the Trades are accurate to the SA M14 series. Having seen one in person they are the same as the TM ones which are also true to the real thing but the TM doesnt have unique serials.

Well considering i've just ordered a TM M14 I'm not disappointed. I fail to see how it'll be any better than a TM.

I don't recall the G&G mechbox design being ever referred to as mechanically inferior to the version 7. All the real problems with the G&G14 I've heard were in the assembly and QC, heavy trigger pull aside.

Cheaper than a TM, higher FPS than a TM and a metal spring guide included? Honestly, and people are still complaining? I've owned both TM (SOCOM, G36, FAMAS) and CA (G36), and TMs just ain't all that in increasingly many cases.

Probably nothing....."better metals" would be a laugh; CA uses potmetal. Marui prefers cast aluminum.

AirsoftGI completely dropped the G&G M14 line because of their poor gearboxes. It was poor shimming and some other QC stuff IIRC.

So, IS there anyway to put a scope on it?

The more important part will be if the CA M14 will have a hop up system that will be on par/better than TM, which will be hard to do since the hop on the TM M14 is their best yet and absolutely amazing. Maybe CA read that people are sick of them copying TM at every turn and decided to copy someone else ;-)
Bad move copying the GG M14, no mag compatibility w/ TM then? Oh well at least it's about 1/2 the price of the GG, maybe CA fanbois can jump on this and when the (insert internal part) breaks out of the box they can say "it's okay, my local retailor will fix it for free, CA rocks! My new gun broke right out of the box!"

One would imagine that an optic could be fitted to one in much the same manner as an optic can be fitted to any other M14, variant, and clone.
