I'd be more worried about the evident gaps between the two halves of the upper receiver myself. Looks about as bad as the MP5K body

The reason why CA is using their "Crappy" trades is because its cheaper to get the rights to them from any reproduction company rather than the founding one.

i had a G3 SG1 back in the day with a classic army metal body and cocking tube. it was a light version of the body but even so, the gun weighed so much that i couldnt carry it for long skirmishes. and im a big guy and dont normally have a problem. im hoping this includes a new style of metal body that doesnt have a ton and a half of weight behind it. as i always fancied a G3 but i dont want the bendy TM or the wieght of the Old CA body

I suspect the dig was more at the whiteness of the trades than the actual manufacturer slapped on the side itself

Um, its really not a glossy black on the new CA G3 bodies, granted it does have a bit of shine to it but it is very much matte black...

Riiiight, because we all know that when you shoulder the thing in-game, the TRADEMARKS will be the only thing you ever see. Seriously, some of you people amaze me. An airsoft gun is no different than a hockey stick, a baseball bat, or a tennis racquet. It's a tool used to play a game. Stop being so obsessed over tiny details that you'll never even pay attention to and play the game.

dont forget mate that many people are collectors collecting realistic replica's, and since i am yet to see a real G3 with CLASSIC ARMY in big white letters on the side im sure its as bigger deal to a collector as, say, you not having a hop rubber in your skirmishing gun

Scwaben Arms does make a semi-auto only G3A3, so the trademarks aren't completely wrong (unlike their AUGs, especially the "A2").

But I do wish NickN would be less condescending
