Seems Star Airsoft have a new 150rnd M16 VN style magazine out, hopefully a cheaper alternative to TM and CA's versions.




Hopefully it'll be out pretty soon, i can see myself getting a fair few.

Uhhh the p90 mag is huge and no one makes midcaps for it :/ Same goes for the aug mags.

Staggered like midcaps...in fact they are midcaps...and that´s why I know about the BB problems with those mags....but the G&P VN Midcaps had been even worse.

G&P mags are pants, and the latest MAG M16 mags arent so hot either.

I cant see these being any better than G&Ps.

I use G&P mid caps in my m4`s and my ak i have 8 G&P m16 midcaps and 1 ak mid cap and i have never had a problem with any of them.

i have 12, i think, G&P VN mags. half of them are brand new, and dont work perfectly. the others are all second hand, and feed flawlessly. thats no coincedence. the new ones work better if you dont fill them. i just fill a TM pistol speedloader and put them all in. they seem to work better then.

these star ones are plastic yeah ? i'd gt some if i wasnt already set. no way i'd be putting 150 rnds in them though. put 120-130, and i bet they work fine.

Have you taken them apart and given them a clean, I find all aeg mags feed better if you strip them down and give them a good clean every once and a while to stop the build up of dust.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Anyways I think it won't look too bad. Definetly not as bad as a AK47 with a square magazine.

The mag looks rather square, not like the VN one, however it may be the camera angle.
I dont see how people can make claims on its feeding when it isnt even out yet and base their superstitions on a different brand, chill out and wait and see.

umm, i was actually refering to how the G&P AK mids hold about 120-130 rounds and these tiny things hold 150.
although i would love to see some P90 and AUG mids, lack of midcaps is one of the reaons im putting off buying an AUG...unless i STANAG it.

Well hopefully after these they'll make some M16 30round style mags that hold >200 rounds.
