I've been looking for a patriot kit for a while and was tempted to get a MONDA, thinking that it would be some time before the Madbull's would be out but low and behold here they are!! WHEEEEEEEEE!

The Price is the best part $138... I was sure they'd be one of the more expensive kits but they are cheaper than the Monda, PDI and King arms versions - based on equivilant sizes.

As we all know from the news page, the madbull patriot kits boast accurate replication to the real steel as opposed to the afforementioned offerings and is a "true" patriot! Personally I couldn't give a monkey's tadger! I just love the look. biggrin.gif Apparently some modification to the "host" gun is in order but I guess I'll find out what that is when it arrives.

Looks like they've already sold out. They only went on today, must have been a trial run. Guess I was lucky.

I got it wrong, they are $139.95 still a bargain though and still cheaper than the others.

That is a massive jump. My guess is that the price mentioned on that thread was for the sample product only. On madbull's website they are offering FREE samples of their new piston and you only have to pay the shipping and handling charges. It seems that they do this simply to product test and get some feedback before the main run.

The whole kits is milled from high grade aluminium and includes : barrel, muzzle brake, foregrip, tail, fake gas tube and sling mount....I very much doubt that they would ever have dreamed of entering the market with a price that low. All the other companies that offer long patriot kits such as monda, PDI and king arms are asking around $165 - $170 for similar sized kits with pretty much the same amount of gear. Undercutting the competition is always a good idea but you only need to do it by a few bucks...less than two thirds is just crazy. biggrin.gif

Although Madbull have ???? after the price to indicate that it was not certain they shouldn't have mentioned any value at all as it is very misleading.

Indeed. I was looking forward to that...and that conversion kit for the price. Now they can forget it. I can get a custom made one done for less. God has blessed me with being a man with a power tool addiction for a reason it would seem. *sigh*

While your at it, do a OA93/98 kit! biggrin.gif I'll buy it! I reckon loads of people would. Its my all time favourite gun from the armalite/AR family.........I too have power tools But I dare say that my skills are inferior to yours biggrin.gif

ICS and JBU obviously have the licenses to produce Olympics arms gear and both companies have released OA93 bits with the m4 CQB pistol being the closest.....I wish they would stop dancing around the obvious and just hurry up and make one already!!!!

back to the subject:

Does anyone have a link to the real steel patriot's history with photo's, I heard Madbull's version was supposed to be based around and m16a1 receiver for that type but I can't find any info. Admittedly you can put it on whatever body you want, I'm just curious. Kokusai did their version on a flat top receiver.....
