Tis called the '35W HID Spotlight', and it has a 4400mah 11.1v Li-ion battery.

and it runs for only 85 minutes, and weighs over two kilos.

It does kick out three and a half thousand lumens though...
BEHOLD!

no news on price yet, but it should be out either this month or next month, according to G&P. Fire-support says they'll be able to get them in stock.

Also, for the fans of the R500, but want a little longer bulb life, the C3, and C3S! like the R500, but with three 'CREE' LED's, whatever they are.
same overall shape/size of the R500 M, which is nice.

so... who wants?

Make a great addition to anyone's field kitchen.

Get a Rail-Rail adaptor and attach another torch.

Hell, two of them together - on a tripod. You could disrupt low flying aircraft.

Cree LEDs!!! Depending on what the driver circuit and LED binning is in that R500 head you could get up to 630 lumens of white light!!

One of our teammates has built a custom LED taclight from two of those LEDs outputting an estimated 390 lumens and anyone that's been on the receiving end would agree that it's far more blinding than a scorpion. Just imagine what it would be like to look into 3 of them hehe.

I reckon it'll be upwards of £100. but i want one anyway. Also, for the hardcore, you could use a rail - rail adaptor, and use it like a PEQ box. 4400mah ain't gonna be used up in a hurry....

Put a big-arse visible laser onto the rail. Precision blindness biggrin.gif

Not that I'd condone blinding anyone with this of course...

Maybe it's just be best to get a rail to rail adapter and the Glock AEP with scope rail? biggrin.gif

35 watt HID would be very bright. It's not possible to compare lumens to candlepower so who knows - but i'd put my money on the HID smile.gif

I sure hope they put a thick two planks thick lens on that thing. It would act as a BB super magnet the moment you turn it on.
