LOL at dummy 5.56mm belt.

That's what I was thinking. You'd think STAR would notice that the M60 fires a 7.62. If it turns out as well as their M249s did (looks to have more metal, so it should be better) for the cost it looks like a great gun. I would have preferred an E1, but I guess this is fine too.

I'm so buying one. I don't care if the performance is the same as their M249, I can fit a PCG gearbox in if I need to.

 

As for weight... as long as its metal and not plastic and can stand up to my neverending running into trees, walls, the ground.....

Wow Its even lower than I expected, only $500 for E4 and $520 for MK43.

 

And these are METAL M60's not 100% plastic like M249.

 

But these prices may go up, but still it's far cheaper than any other M60 on the market.

 

It's already a good deal, half the price of VFC and Inokatsu and it actually has a decent box mag, rather than the poor excuse cardboard box offered by VFC.

 

Oh yeah here's the metal content as show in pre-production pics. I don't think thats the

 

whole metal content, I believe that the metal shown is just the aluminum.
