otherrandomhero
LOL at dummy 5.56mm belt. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's what I was thinking. You'd think STAR would notice that the M60 fires a 7.62. If it turns out as well as their M249s did (looks to have more metal, so it should be better) for the cost it looks like a great gun. I would have preferred an E1, but I guess this is fine too. yuxi
I'm curious what the exact real cost of it will be, since their website always seems to charge more than the HK retailers do.
nightfire6
Well the 5.56 cartridge belt comes free, besides, you can easily swap it, the belt is only for aesthetic purposes and it can be removed since the battery is inside the stock this time, not the box. tangman
in the words of John Mclane "HO HO HO! I GOT A MACHINEGUN!" (or something to that effect, and maybe it should be I'm getting a machinegun....maybe I should stop rambling and look at the pictures )
Agent47
oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god this better have a moving charging handle or I will be slightly ######...
Catman
LOL at dummy 5.56mm belt. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's a typo, those are 7.62mm - they're way too big to be 5.56 That actually looks like a quality bit of kit. Nice one star
nightfire6
Well They changed it now, it says 7.62mm instead of 5.56mm.
twiglet
I wonder what price they will go for in the UK, probably £600 at the very least and even that would be optimistic, remember their LSW.
-FIDO-
am i the only one who thinks a big gun like this hould have more weight to it than an average aeg with some goddies on it?
Hillslam
I'm so buying one. I don't care if the performance is the same as their M249, I can fit a PCG gearbox in if I need to. As for weight... as long as its metal and not plastic and can stand up to my neverending running into trees, walls, the ground.....
spartan490
MUST... resist... urge.... to buy... second... M60...
ECRRRainman
My god, it is beautiful, too bad im still broke! EDIT: Am I reading it right? these are pressure switch loading boxmags? not like their M249's?
Hillslam
Yep apparently. Like the recent CAM249 1200rd cartridge pouch boxmag - it senses when compression has come off the mag winding spring to run the motor. Elegant.
Mikkel
This is amazing! I really considering getting one Maybe if the retail price is low enough.

Handsome Pete
http://www.uncompany.com/ they have it to. Oh this is a good day.
nightfire6
Wow Its even lower than I expected, only $500 for E4 and $520 for MK43. And these are METAL M60's not 100% plastic like M249. But these prices may go up, but still it's far cheaper than any other M60 on the market. It's already a good deal, half the price of VFC and Inokatsu and it actually has a decent box mag, rather than the poor excuse cardboard box offered by VFC. Oh yeah here's the metal content as show in pre-production pics. I don't think thats the whole metal content, I believe that the metal shown is just the aluminum.
GaMeFrEAK1018
Damn. This or an A&K M249? Decisions, decisions...
