^ G&P came out with a new Body of the FN M16A4 type. Good for an accurate A4 methinks.

Oh no, the cat's out of the bag now, the national security of every country in the Western world has been compromised because we all now know exactly what super secret armour carrier is used by a civilian shooting instructor who works for a company which founded itself as an alternative to paracord and duct tape.

mrk, watch your back dude, Chris Costa's beard is going to come and get you, I imagine in a similar way that Chuck Norris' might, and when it's done with you, Matt Johnson is going to make you a 750D Cordura bodybag (it's innovatively better than 500D and 1000D, naturally), in a khaki colour that's not quite green, not quite tan, not quite khaki. With grey trim, of course.

Sweet, finally I can do an accurate A4. But since when does FN make the A4? I actually like the fake trades on the bodies except that the M16 one says M-4.

FN does make a M16/M4.

The USMC issue M16A4 is manufactured by FN-USA.

Ive been waiting for a A4 body to come out, but id rather get a Colt one, even if its not 100% realistic...
I saw one by ZEKE, but the idiot who designed it, made it for the S-System, and it didn't have a flattop receiver...
I guess I still could get it and use a different upper...

Nice to see that it's properly marked with Safe-Semi-Burst instead of Auto. Does nayone sell a 3 round burst chip?

The Zeke A4 receiver does have a flat top and will fit any v3 gearbox. You will need more of the Marui parts. Also, it does not come with a metal forward assist. It needs modifications if you want to use a 1 piece metal hop-up and use a gas tube...the mod's are easy though.
Have a question? You might find your answer here.

I think Colt and FN make the A4 receivers, look at this pic I found on the Colt website.

http://www.colt.com/mil/downloads/m16_02.jpg

Looks like Colt trades to me.

Edit: More research on the Internet has revealed to me that Colt made the early A4s but doesnt anymore. FN is the only producer of the A4 now.

Colt and FN-USA both competed for the USMC M16A4 contract. Colt lost. I'm not aware of whether or not any or all USA M16A4s are Colt-contract or FN-USA or someone else entirely.

Oh, well I think they both must produce them otherwise they wouldn't be on Colts website.

Yes, because people without s-systems dont have enough choice of aftermarket metal bodies as it is, right? Whats wrong with making a metal body for the s-system, may I ask? Especially since the zeke ones are the ONLY choice s-system users have, unless we want to pay another $80 for the hurricane adaptor.

IIRC Zeke receivers never had any flat top rails included. The user is supposed to use the original Marui rail with them. Whether you can use the top part of the S-System and an M4 as well, I don't know. But it's possible that the Zeke receivers are applicable to the S-System and any flat top model.

Its not that I don't want a MB for the S System, BUT, Its the fast that they labeled the S-System as the M16A4, instead of whatever it really should be. I really dont know what the S-System's trades are, but they should've made a exact copy of th Stock Marui trades.
Its like the people on Ebay who have a WELL M4 RIS and call it a M16A4...

EDIT: If you zoom in on the M16 on the colt website that AKMAN posted, it says M16A2...

Anyone know if this will fit on a M15A4?
