jin peng famas, been at RSOV for a while, has a STAR style reinforced plastic gearbox with metal internals. hope that helps a bit

the charger has been at actionhobbys for a fair while, never seen the sawn off before, looks kinda cute lol

Is it me, or does the back end of that FAMAS angle down slightly after the carry rail...
Also, I don't know if this is new, but that Well M4 withthe 416 stock....lets just say that's why I hate china guns....

Those spring shotguns are actually very annoyingly difficult to track down in HK.
But yeah, they rock. Pretty amusing to see a sawn off shotgun hit a target 40m away.

My friend recently bought a Jinpeng FA-MAS and I have to say, the exterior quality is very good, albeit not as good as the TM, but for 68 bucks shipped, i'd have to say its an great deal. The metal parts are less quality than the TM, but none the less, still pretty tough. (some parts, like the outer barrel and flash hider are plastic, unfortunate)
However, it is a plastic gearbox, but it has metal gears. So far we've been firing and it seems to whine more than the TM FA-MAS. He probably plans on getting a V1 gearbox shell in the near future and a possible reshim and tune up in order to make it formidable.
ROF is pretty slow compared to the TM FA-MAS, around the same ROF as any normal AEG, which is good considering it will cut down on ammo waste in full auto.
I'm definitely getting one since it's only 60 bucks and seems pretty good. Ive always wanted to work on a FA-MAS!
EDIT: Since he happens to work at a hobby shop with parts, we managed to put a madbull XM203 on the rail...yeah, don't try putting anything heavy on the rail, it's cheap, but eh, it works.
All the excess ###### of an LPEG, but quality of today's chinese mpeg! (Opinion, a bit exaggerated
)

Holy **** Sturaiku you nearly stole the words from my mouth. But then again that's MY gun you were taking about. Yeah, you pretty much explained it all there. Nearly worse in every aspect compared to the TM, but for 68 bucks, it's damn good. We'll see how long it lasts :S
