New Type 89-F Rifle from Tokyo Marui available for pre-order at Redwolf. Doesn't look half bad. A lot better than the original Type 89 IMHO.

Looks pretty good.

I wonder if there's room for a 9.6 stick, or if 8.4 is the max.

9.6 will be out of the question if its anything like the normal Type 89.

The battery goes in the grip and its already a tight fit with an 8.4

That is so ugly. I'm not kidding. For once, I think i've found a gun that is geniunly UGLY. This comming from a guy who likes the P90 and thinks the FAMAS and Mac 11's are cute!

Oh no, the cat's out of the bag now, the national security of every country in the Western world has been compromised because we all now know exactly what super secret armour carrier is used by a civilian shooting instructor who works for a company which founded itself as an alternative to paracord and duct tape.

mrk, watch your back dude, Chris Costa's beard is going to come and get you, I imagine in a similar way that Chuck Norris' might, and when it's done with you, Matt Johnson is going to make you a 750D Cordura bodybag (it's innovatively better than 500D and 1000D, naturally), in a khaki colour that's not quite green, not quite tan, not quite khaki. With grey trim, of course.

yeah, but the regular one was even uglier. Teh only way to go was up....the T89 kinda looks like a mish mash of parts taken from an M4, Sig 550, M249 and a bunch of other bits and piece whoever assembled the gun found on the floor.

So it can't fit any bigger that an 8.4v? Oh well, it's not the end of the world. I really like how it looks though. I'd prefer it with the regular mag, still it looks great. So whats the price gonna be? The same as the origional Type 89?

Shinden if you're reading this please get this in at your store soon.... I need this BAD!!!

looks even sweeter than the reg t-89 and I owned one of those before, 3 round burst is just freaking sweet to the core, but the first thing I did to my 89 when I got it was taking off the bipod, it was really useless.

Fortunately, that isn't a horribly difficult operation.

for some reason, the reg t-89 didn't sell very well at PE, but sure, I'm up for a firefight over one of these, hell if ASP was still around I'd even make it down to AL for another OP:SC... / OT

I guess we're looking at 350~360 at PE? Fantastic.
