I have a 551 on order from Dragon Red, 552/553's have no specific release date yet. Hopefully within the next 2 months. I'll be doing a lovely review on it once it arrives.

reticule size depends on how far the camera was when the picture was taken. The further away the bigger it will appear

I have just received one of the Xinde 551 (supposedly the same factory as these) and have noticed that the view through the Eotech seems very dim. Almost like wearing light sunglasses.

I think it's got something to do with the lack of coating on the lenses which was necessary to give the Eotech look. When compared with an aimpoint replica with its coated lens the AP's view had much better depth and contrast.

Is it bright enough to use under bright sunlight though? I had Action ACOG dot scope before. It had cross reticle and was very bright even to use during day light. I could even aim it at light bulb on the ceiling and I still could see my reticle. Not as clear and crisp, but still usable.

I think the dim-ness of the lenses are least of the problem. You are not suppose to aim through it anyway. It should be used by having both eyes open and let the dot/reticle "print" on midair. That's the whole point of having reflex/dot sights/scopes.

...And i just got the 552 HurricanE last week...for 198€

Well,i can´t say much about these,but if it´s like the overpriced HurricanE in quality and finish,then i will get another one.
-But this time i go with the clone from the clone.Why spend more if it got the same quality!?

I´m just a little mad at my self,because i didn´t wait a little more....

I saw at airsoft news that HurricanE is doing damage control of their clone being cloned. They apparently have a patent on the lens in the HurricanE.
