Hey guys whatsup!

I've been making this website for about 5 days, its an airsoft gallery site, ive got a small forum, chat, gallery and all kinds of stuff on there.

If you want visit and please submit your gun so i can post it in the gallery, if i get enough submissions ill do a section for gear too. i really need people to visit and submit!

Insane Airsoft

please if you submit your gun dont forget a hyperlink to a picture, guns w/o links to an image wont be put in the gallery

The pictures don't seem to show up.  The fonts also look silly, like those century old low pixel arcade game fonts. wink.gif

Layout is clunky and none of the gallery pictures work for me.

as above, plus... get some server hosting for the pics, as peoples own hosting is unreliable as they can tend to either go down or people change the files etc so that the links wont work

no point having a gallery full of broken image links! wink.gif

Here are a few more comments.

The layout is terrible.  The site is partitioned on my pc, it should be one smooth non windowed interface.

Also, there should be mini preview pictures of the weapons so that people can get an idea of what they're looking at. If something piques their interest they can click on the link and check out the gun in a larger view.

Also, dont take pictures from places like redwolf, den, wgc and so on.  This should be a user submitted photo gallery.

Lastly, organize the gallery.  Put the guns in sections according to their model.

Its a good idea FL_racer, i absolutely adore looking at pictures of airsoft guns.  Refine the site, organize it and you will have a genuine hit on your hands.

I agree with all the above, also how many pop ups can one site have? I mean my pop up blocker was going crazy counting up the number of pop ups each time i clicked on a link to another page, or went back a page, perhaps you should have a look at trying to find somewhere, where you don't get quite as many pop ups.

Well it's one of those websites that as soon as I take a glimpse at, I close it.

Not everyone is cut out to make webpages.  It's not something you can do with cut and paste.  Go read some books, and practice.  Yes I said it, read.  There are tons of books out there.  There are even entire websites dedicated to beginer web developers.  Find them, and read up.

May I recommend learning appropriate usage of the word "extreme" in all its variations?

You mean "insane"?
Anyway, this site hurts my eyes.  All the scrolling things, and also your background images repeat themselves because you made them work for only your own resolution.  And all those ads are a bummer.  Colors and stuff are alright.  I don't think this site is even worth working on though, so you may as well give up on it for now and learn more about making websites smile.gif
