Seems like an interesting concept. Might even be modestly useful, but it would make dumping your handgun in a hurry a hassle.

Kind of stupid IMO unless your holster slides all over the place on your leg.

THe holster would not slide at all. Thats what those straps with buckles that go around your leg are for.

The problem I see with it is that you will either have to switch the pistol to the other hand to get a magazine or try to reach across your body to get a magazine.

How does that make it any different from any other dropleg with a mag pouch?

from what i can tell you feed the holster between the two trouser leg pouches!

seems very odd to me - would agree with Trigger Happy10 those pouches would be redundant for anything tactical -unless its sensible to lean your rifle against a tree while you sort your mags airsoft newbie style

I can see what they were tryint to achieve but a few simple loops of material would produce the same effect

am tempted by a set of the new black hawk pants though i'm not sure about the molle on the back

It's not any different. Both this an a dropleg with a mag pouch are akward.

Usually a dropleg covers the pockets on BDU pants, so this solves that problem. Nothing special really.

If a person doesn't know what 5.11 looks like, then there's no reason to suspect that the person wearing it is a LEO. Hell, I'm gonna buy some 5.11 trousers and shirts for work... and I work at Wal-Mart. tongue.gif

Looks like it would be a good idea for a body guard, or someone who knows there is going to be a very likely chance for confrontation.

I use a $30 TacForce dropleg holster and it doesn't slide around at all. However I have used some cheaper holsters that did slide around, and were a complete pain.

These pants look like they would solve a problem that is only found with lower-end holsters; besides I think a proprietary holster would be necessary to run it under the two pockets on the pants. I know my TacForce holster wouldn't be compatible with these pants.
