2) I don't trust any retailer which states flaws or characteristics as if they were definite bonuses.
ie. some parts are ABS "to save weight". or "no flimsy shells". Since when were Maruzen shells flimsy?

Apart from that, I'll wait until Marushin rerelease the M500 shorty 6mm thanks..

Remove the relief valve or nothing at all. I ran mine on straight green with no mods.

It's called honesty. It doesn't say "no flimsy shells", it says " no flimsy shell loading mechanisms". That also doesn't mean it's saying that Maruzen loading mechanisms were flimsy, could be comparing to other brands.

It's called overselling the product. Something almost all US retailers are guilty of.
Again, the Maruzen shell loading mechanism is not flimsy, m870's are some of the most robust gas guns around.

maruzen 870's aren't very robust. of course theres some out there that people have had great luck with but its also how you treat them and luck of the draw sometimes. not to mention if anything ever got busted maruzen isn't to good with supplying replacements even to retailers.

So telling us that it doesn't have a flimsy shell loading mechanism and that its made of hard ABS is overselling the product?
By that comment I also assume that you've had experience with almost all of US Retailers?

a) over-hype products
b ) not get their facts right
c) give fps ratings with .12s
Of course these are not right all the time, but seen as most M870's around nowadays have had years of use, and with one part replaced can take Co2 without issue, I fail to see how they aren't robust. M1100s, now they're a different beast altogether, but they stress the parts a heck of a lot more..
--
Anyway, I didn't mean to threadjack, just pointing out that a mainly ABS M500 is not only odd, but it's something never released by Marushin.
Shell loading systems are different, not better, not worse, but different. In this same vain their ad for a tm shotty could say "no need for those silly 8mm bb's, and gas, pah! spring is where it's at".
IMO m500s are no more skirmishable than M870s, especially when it comes to reloading after firing those 16 or so shots...

ASG is pretty reliable.
over here ASG, AEX, AA, and Poweredge are some of the more reliable places to buy from

whats with that with good airsoft shotties... unless you have a POS UTG or a TM (not saying Tms are POS) your gonna have to end up paying almost as much if not more for a decent shottie...
