...and just when my bank account was beginning to recover after the ps3/hdtv spendage.
Might just be me, but the foregrip still looks a bit on the short side though. Nice to see a lack of garish white trades though. When you getting one then CrazyHarry ?

I'm going to wait until we have guinnea pigs. I'm not THAT much of an HK fan that I can't wait. Hopefully it'll have a decent hopup...

And they've got the FN FAL folding stock carbine too (well, those have been out for a while actually). Damnation - I've been gagging for both of these AEGs.....

It does look like the CA53 uses a different hop unit than the CA33 though - which might be a good thing. At any rate, I want to stick the front bits (except the outer barrel) of a CA33 on a CA53 to make an HK33K replica.

Eh, no.
Just a shortened HK33.

I wonder if they'll make those hopup chambers available separately, I'd like to put one in my CA33.

This is the close-up view of the CA53 hop-up unit on Classic Army's website:

Am I right in thinking that's different from the one used on the CA33?

Yeah, that's only a little snag...

Do yall know if these take the same scope mounts as the G3? I would assume so but..you never know...

I think if these come over to America soon, I'll be the guinnea pig.

Yes, I mounted one on my old CA33 and KSC HK33K with no problems.
