The handguards are correctly styled. Those are AKM grips you linked to.

$230 is a perfectly acceptable deal for a full steel kit

Considering that CA's slr-105 steel version is $360~, VFC is $460~, Inokatsu kit is $430~.

I would agree, but several things make me wonder-

1. The gas tube assembly is ?one piece? - Even Classic Army and ICS make it two pieces.
2. The bolt looks naff, like it's nonfunctional and is there solely for support. Look at the design - it looks like it bridges the gun to reinforce it?
3. They copied VFC's receiver, so I wonder how the gearbox selector mechanism will cope, as the VFC gear bits aren't aligned the same as Marui-spec...
4. The front trunnion isn't accurate to any existing AK variants except some of the Yugoslavian ones, or the Chinese ones.
5. See the Chinese script on the receiver? What's with that?

gearbox fits fine in the pictures..
bolt is functional

I don't think that's chinese script....doesn't look like it to me(just bad photography on gunner's part I think)...look at the complete gun he offers does not have any chinese script on the receiver.

That looks like two slightly different kits... *head assplodes*

*edit - the script is in the receiver, just where the bolt would go. And I retract my comment about the trunnion - I have bad eyes, apparently.

looks more like a guarder Ak74 looking at the back of the receiver. And the bolt is a copy of the guarder bolt.
If it's as blue in colour in real life and not just the photo then it will be a good base for scruffing up and wearing.
the wooden furniture looks similar to the VFC set however doesn't seem to be as realistic and the colour seems a bit off but that could just be the photo.

all in all for $230 or roughly £115 looks like a good buy.

actually looking at the picture again something is bothering me about the front site and flash hider but i can't put my finger on it.

The steel kit has been out there for over 2 monthes. You can purchase the kit only as well.
