I think that says it all, clone miad grips! all the sound-deafening, comfortable goodness at 1/3 the cost. Ordered mine last night, I'll give you guys an update when I get it.

Sound deafening?  The 2 guns I installed Magpul Airsoft MIAD's on the motor noise is much louder.

yes deafening, as in so loud it deafens you!

still I think a Tan Miad and CTR stock with tan casv is tempting.

yeah, I like how it's called a MAID, maybe to keep magpul off their butt's.
*fruitcage*, now they've got the black one in stock but the price for both has gone up ~$5. glad I got mine when I did.

I thought I heard reports of  them not fitting and breaking the bodies.

Oh no, the cat's out of the bag now, the national security of every country in the Western world has been compromised because we all now know exactly what super secret armour carrier is used by a civilian shooting instructor who works for a company which founded itself as an alternative to paracord and duct tape.

mrk, watch your back dude, Chris Costa's beard is going to come and get you, I imagine in a similar way that Chuck Norris' might, and when it's done with you, Matt Johnson is going to make you a 750D Cordura bodybag (it's innovatively better than 500D and 1000D, naturally), in a khaki colour that's not quite green, not quite tan, not quite khaki. With grey trim, of course.

Should fit on any marui based M4/M16 or clone variant with no problems, so yes. Can;t say for the fitting although i always seem to have trouble when it comes to any Armalite  grip :s

Gotta say I never got the point of these, it's a non modular replica of a real steel grip whose main selling point is that it's modular.

Wrongo, the scar has a slightly different curve on the lower reciever behind the pistol grip.

Also, you have to file small channels into the miad grip in order for it to fit over the 7mm bearings in the CA scar.
