As can be seen over here (Price crash) AA have discounted pretty much every CA gun so nows a good time for savings. Even the M249 is down to £449 from £699.... That SPR looks tempting too... sad.gif

Minimis for £400 - i think thats about £20 above the trade price. Any idea why this is going on? Is it just a promotion, or are they trying to clear out the CA stock for some reason?

maybe it's because clones are selling really well and CA's have terrible performance now.

Maybe they want newer versions of classic army products, like the updated M4? So they have to clear the old stock, either that or there closing?

Word on the street is that CA dealers are lowering their prices to compete with Chinese clones. I only wish Marui would do this.

The clone m249 comes with a box mag batt and charger and is about £340 and knocks the b****x of the Ca 249.

Um, care to cite your source on that?

To be honest if I had the money I would pick up the Mk.II in a second at that price though I have also been wondering why exactly are they knocking the prices down and if it is due to clone competition will other retailers follow suit?

Even though it is a CLONE of the Classic Army m249? Surely it is the same (performance wise), aside from the price difference, how could it possibly be better? blink.gif

That Classic Army mk1 m249 is calling me... would love to buy one and put a SUSAT or ELCAN on it wub.gif

If theyd knocked another 10-15 off the 177e2, I may have had to buy one.

Edit:
I see what you mean about HK shops lowering prices. A G&P La France for $330? Hmm...may just HAVE to have one wink.gif

Well, the JG and Echo's are supposed to be TM clones buy they are upgraded wink.gif
So I wouldn't be surprised if the clone SAW is "better"
WTB:
Marushin (Or ACM) Winchester Lever actions, M1 Carbine, M1 Garand, .44 Automag
MGC Ruger 10/22 Sporter/Panther or Armalites
Or any interesting NBB / Gas guns

PM me if you've got anything, I am located in the US btw :)

With the pgc gearbox of the ca, upgrading the spring only take s 30 seconds anyway, so I could care less if the A&K saw is upgraded.

in recent months i hear loads of people complain about the CA trigger assembly. contact point seems to break often, and more often i keep hearing messages on broken gear-boxes. though i have no quotes i only hear these things on the gaming field, sorry....

First hand experience: 2 CA trigger switches blown and my CQB SEAL broke the front off its GB in under 10k rounds. probably under 5k, actually.

Sadly, only CA make an M15a1 carbine for my Colt 9mm project, so I have to buy another...may as well go to Airsoft Armoury.
